YS Sharmila Demands CBI Probe Into Jagan-Adani Scandal, Urges Deal Cancellation

The political row between YS Sharmila and her brother YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, has now gained new heights as Sharmila filed serious charges against Jagan over a contentious power distribution deal with Gautam Adani.

YS Sharmila, leader of Andhra Pradesh Congress, has branded Jagan as a scam mastermind in relation to the Rs 1,750 crore bribery scandal linked with the Adani Group. In a highly charged open letter, she called upon Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu to scrap the controversial power deal saying it would put a massive burden of Rs 1.5 lakh crore on the people of Andhra Pradesh in the next five years.

She sought a full-fledged CBI inquiry or an inquiry by a sitting judge into the alleged irregularities in the deal.

Ironically, Chandrababu Naidu has already responded to this issue with stating that the state government is actively working on the issue. He assured the public that whoever indulged in such activities will face the legal consequences.

The coverage has been raised from Rs. 2 lakh to Rs. 5 lakh, providing better security and support to members. Since assuming the role of National General Secretary, Nara Lokesh has brought about several key reforms aimed at strengthening the party. He has set up a grievance cell to provide assistance to party workers facing challenges and has distributed over Rs. 135 crore in financial aid to the cadre over the past five years. Furthermore, a legal wing has been established to protect party workers from wrongful cases and other legal obstacles.

Pradeep’s New Film Song Release Date Out!

The anchor-turned-actor Pradeep Machiraju is set to make his return to the big screen with his upcoming movie ‘Akkada Ammayi Ikkada Abbayi’, which got Pawan Kalyan’s movie title. The film marks his second venture into cinemas, following his debut in 2021’s romantic entertainer ’30 Rojullo Preminchadam Ela’.

With the film set for a 2025 release, the filmmakers today announced an interesting update on this project, revealing the first single, ‘Le Le Le Le,’ will be unveiled on November 27 at 4:05 PM. Sharing this update, they dropped a vibrant new poster featuring Pradeep Machiraju and Deepika Pilli.

Promising a soulful melody, the makers revealed that the first single was sung by the legendary National Award winner Udit Narayan under the composition of Radhan’s musical. Along with the poster, they captioned, “The soulful melody #LeLeLeLe from #Akkada Ammayi Ikkada Abbayi drops on November 27th at 4:05 PM. అయితే చాలా చిన్న కేసు గురించి రాంగోపాల్ వర్మ చేస్తున్న ఈ ఓవరాక్షన్ వల్ల ఆయనకే మరింత నష్టం జరుగుతుందని విశ్లేషకులు న్యాయనిపుణులు అభిప్రాయపడుతున్నారు.

‘Srikakulam Sherlock Holmes’ Set for Christmas Release

Renowned comedian Vennela Kishore joins the Christmas race with the release of his upcoming film, titled ‘Srikakulam Sherlock Holmes,’ as a protagonist. Touted to be a mystery thriller, the film is promising a humorous touch in a crime thriller with Vennela Kishore as a detective and Ananya Nagalla in the role of the female lead.

The makers of this upcoming film announced the release date by unveiling a captivating new poster, revealing that it will hit theaters on December 25. The poster showcases talented actor Vennela Kishore as a serious detective with deep thoughts in his mind, holding a magnifying glass. The blockbuster musical duo Vivek Siva and Mervin Solomon, renowned as Vivek-Mervin, who are popular in Tamil Cinema, are now gearing up to make their debut in Tollywood with Ram Pothineni’s upcoming film.

Pushpa 2: The Rule will be hitting the screen on December 5, 2024. Fans are gearing up to feel the heat. In a surprising twist, the film has surfaced within political debates in Andhra Pradesh. Recently, YSRCP MLA Ambati Rambabu courted controversy by leveling allegations against some political forces that are trying to sabotage the film’s success.

“No one can stop Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2 from emerging as a gigantic hit at the box office,” he declared, speculating that someone was waging a boycott against the movie. He also mentioned Jr. NTR’s Devara, claiming similar boycott attempts against it were not successful.

Ambati has praised Pushpa: The Rise as “Hollywood-level” production and is eagerly awaiting the sequel. “The first part was phenomenal, and Allu Arjun’s performance was extraordinary. I can’t wait to watch the second part,” he said.

However, Allu Arjun fans have criticized some of his remarks. Many remembered the severe ticket price restriction imposed by the YSRCP government during the release of Pushpa 1, which had claimed a part of the latter’s box office collections. They accused Ambati of double-speak in his interest in the sequel.

Making matters interesting, Ambati made his remarks when the opposition leader, Chandrababu Naidu, has been frequently targeting him in the Assembly on account of delays in the Polavaram project during his stint as the Irrigation Minister. Critics viewed his fixation on Pushpa 2 at a time when key political issues are besetting him:.
