ACB Arrested Former Dy CM Krishna Das PA Gondu Murali After Finding Rs 60 crore Illegal Assets

The ACB officials after finding over Rs 60 crore worth illegal assets during their searches conducted from Thursday morning to late night, arrested Gondu Murali, who was PA to former deputy chief minister and YCP leader Dharmana Krishna Das.

 A complaint was recently received by ACB officials on charges of amassing assets beyond his income and conducted raids  simultaneously at six places in Srikakulam district and Visakhapatnam. In Srikakulam, ACB DSP Ramanamurthy and his team conducted searches at Murali’s residence, the place where he carried out his duties, and the houses of his relatives.

Murali’s car and his computer were examined and some information was collected. Details were collected from VRO Rama Rao and Panchayat Secretary Dharmaraju. They also seized several documents. Murali’s mother Padmavati, sister Aruna, and daughter-in-law Shyamala live in the house in Lingannaidupeta.

Lingannaidupeta and surrounding villagers were shocked by the ACB searches. Murali is currently residing with his family in Danta village, Kotabommali mandal, his in-laws’ village. He has also accumulated a lot of assets in Danta. With this, ACB  conducted searches at two places in Danta village. They also checked the houses of relatives in Srikakulam city and Gajuwaka and Madhurawada areas of Visakhapatnam district.

Before he joined as PA with Dharmana Krishnadas, Gondu Murali worked as a lab technician at Budithi CHC in Saravakota mandal. After Krishnadas joined as PA, his status changed. Dharmana Krishnadas served as Deputy Chief Minister and Minister for two and a half years from 2019. At that time, Murali’s reputation as a PA was not all that great.

He was directly involved in the transfers of medical and health department employees and directly handled matters with Srikakulam district officials. With the recent change of government, the ACB received a complaint against Murali. 

Most of his assets were immovable properties. Several houses in his possession were found at various places during these raids, besides several sites.The ACB officials confirmed that all these assets were accumulated in his name and the names of his relatives.

As part of AP government’s efforts to give a big boost to the tourism sector, plans are being made to develop the prominent spiritual center Srisailam shrine on the lines of Tirumala. Devotees flock to Srisailam, a famous Shaivite shrine in the state, not only from the two Telugu states, but also from neighboring Karnataka and Maharashtra.

Especially during the months of Karthika and Shravan, the Srisailam shrine resonates with the chanting of Shiva’s name. However, traffic jams on the ghat road occasionally cause problems for the devotees. In this context, the government has started taking steps to develop Srisailam without any problems for the devotees coming to Srisailam.

As part of this, a master plan with comprehensive details will be prepared for the development of Srisailam on the lines of Tirumala. Nandyal District Collector G. Rajakumari instructed the officials to submit reports for this. The Collector conducted a review on the development of Srisailam.

On this occasion, she ordered reports on the development of Srisailam on the lines of Tirumala. AP Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan chaired a review meeting on endowments and tourism recently. In this meeting, the district officials were instructed to send reports for the preparation of a master plan for the development of Srisailam.

In this context, the Nandyal District Collector, who met with the officials, ordered that the reports required for the comprehensive action plan for the development of Srisailam be sent by Friday evening. She said that if the reports are prepared and submitted by the concerned officials, the master plan will be prepared and reported to the government.

On the other hand, the Nandyal District Collector revealed that proposals for the construction of an iconic bridge from Sunnipenta to Srisailam for a distance of two and a half kilometers will also be included in the master plan. When it comes to the development of Srisailam, it is known that seaplane services have also been started recently from Vijayawada. However, it is reported that these will be fully available from March or April next year.

High Court slams Journalist Vijayababu For His PIL Against Arrest of YCP’s social Media Activists

The AP High Court expressed anger at journalist and former president of the Official Language Commission, Pola Vijayababu, who has filed a petition in the High Court questioning the police’s registration of cases for posting on social media. In a way he challenged cases against YCP social media activists.

The AP High Court, which heard this petition, expressed the opinion that the petitioner had filed the petition with political motives and imposed a fine of Rs. 50,000 on him. Vijayababu was ordered to pay the fine of Rs. 50,000 to the Legal Service Authority within a month. The High Court’s Chief Justice’s bench ordered that this amount be used for the welfare of the blind and deaf. It also made key comments on posts on social media.

The High Court, referring to Vijayababu’s PIL in support of those posting on social media, questioned whether those posting on social media were posting without knowing their rights? The court questioned the need to file a petition on their behalf, saying that those posting on social media were using expensive phones and electronic devices.

The court dismissed the petition, holding that the public interest litigation, which was supposed to be filed for those who cannot express their pain in society, was filed with political malice. The AP High Court questioned the petitioner about what would be wrong if those who engage in personal attacks and post obscene posts on social media were brought before the law?

It argued that what would be wrong if the police registered cases against them and arrested them? It questioned whether the government should take action against such people if hundreds of people post obscene posts with the same intention?

The court opined that posts are being posted on social media with the same intention and in the same manner, but the police are not filing cases in the same manner. The court expressed strong objection to such comments being made in a planned manner. The High Court warned that the law will not accept using social media platforms as they please and that this will be a crime in legal terms.

ఎన్నికలు అంటూ వస్తే చాలు.. అవి ఏ స్థాయి ఎన్నికలు అయినా సరే.. ఓటర్లను ప్రలోభ పెట్టడం, మభ్యపెట్టడం, మద్యం తాగించడం లోబరచుకోవడం ఎన్నికల్లో నెగ్గడం అనేది వైఎస్సార్ కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీ అనుసరించిన దీర్ఘకాలిక విధానం. కొన్ని సందర్భాల్లో వారి పాచికలు పారాయి- నెగ్గారు. ఇటీవలి సార్వత్రిక ఎన్నికల్లో దారుణంగా ఓడిపోయారు. వేల కోట్ల రూపాయలు పంచినప్పటికీ.. అంతే విలువైన మద్యం యేరుల్లా పారించినప్పటికీ పార్టీ మాత్రం గెలవలేదు. అయితే.. ఇప్పటికీ జగన్ భక్తుల్లో ఆ బుద్ధులు మాత్రం మారలేదని కనిపిస్తోంది. అంత సీరియస్ గా ఎన్నికలుగా ఎవ్వరూ పరిగణించిని.. ఏపీ సచివాలయ క్యాంటీన్ ఎన్నికల్లో విజయం సాధించడానికి జగన్ భక్తుడైన ఉద్యోగసంఘాల నేత వెంకట్రామిరెడ్డి అనుచిత మార్గాలను అవలంబించడం ఇప్పుడు చర్చనీయాంశం అవుతోంది. అర్ధరాత్రి పార్టీలు జరుగుతుండగా.. ఫిర్యాదు అందుకున్న ఎక్సయిజ్ పోలీసులు అర్ధరాత్రి సమయంలో అరెస్టు చేయడం కూడా జరిగింది.

ఏపీ సచివాలయ క్యాంటీన్ డైరెక్టర్ల పోస్టులకు ఇప్పుడు ఎన్నికలు జరగబోతున్నాయి. సాధారణంగా అయితే ఇవి అంత సీరియస్ గా తీసుకునే ఎన్నికలు కాదు. కానీ.. జగన్ భక్తుడైన ఉద్యోగ సంఘాల నేత వెంకట్రామిరెడ్డి వీటిని కూడా సీరియస్ గా తీసుకున్నారు. తమ ప్యానెల్ మనుషుల్ని గెలిపించుకోవడానికి భారీస్థాయిలో సచివాలయ ఉద్యోగులకు మందు, విందు, చిందు లతో కూడిన భారీ పార్టీ ఏర్పాటు చేశారు. ఓటర్లను ప్రలోభపెట్టడానికి ఇలాంటి అనుచిత ప్రలోభాలు జరుగుతున్నట్టుగా సమాచారం లీక్ అయింది. రాత్రి 11 గంటల సమయంలో అనుమతి లేకుండా ఈ స్థాయిలో మందు పార్టీలు విందులు నిర్వహిస్తున్నందుకు ఎక్సయిజు పోలీసులు దాడిచేసి ఆపు చేయించారు. ఈ మందు పార్టీ తానే ఏర్పాటు చేసినట్టుగా వెంకట్రామిరెడ్డి స్వయంగా ఒప్పుకోవడంతో ఆయనను అరెస్టు కూడా చేశారు.

అంత సీరియస్ గా పట్టించుకోని సచివాలయ క్యాంటీన్ ఎన్నికలకు కూడా ఈ స్థాయి అతి చేయడం వెనుక మర్మం ఏమిటి? అనేది చర్చనీయాంశంగా ఉంది. ఎన్నిక ఎంత చిన్నది అయినా సరే.. వైఎస్సార్ కాంగ్రెస్ అనుకూల ప్యానెల్ గెలిచినట్లయితే.. ప్రభుత్వం పట్ల అసంతృప్తి వస్తున్నట్టుగా ప్రచారం చేయడం సాధ్యమవుతుందని అనుకున్నట్టుగా తెలుస్తోంది. వెంకట్రామిరెడ్డి సార్వత్రిక ఎన్నికల సమయంలో కూడా తాను ప్రభుత్వోద్యోగి అని మరచిపోయి.. వైసీపీ కార్యకర్త లాగా ఎన్నికల ప్రచారంలో పాల్గొన్నారనే ఆరోపణలు ఎదుర్కొన్నారు. ఇప్పుడు క్యాంటీన్ ఎన్నికల్లో గెలిస్తే.. అమరావతి సచివాలయ ఉద్యోగుల్లోనే ఎన్డీయే కూటమి పాలన పట్ల సంతృప్తి లేదని బురద చల్లడం సాధ్యమవుతుందని ఇలా మందు పార్టీలతో ప్రలోభాలకు దిగినట్టుగా తెలుస్తోంది.

“If you know someone using drugs, call the Telangana Anti-Narcotics Bureau’s toll-free number: 1908. They will promptly assist the affected individuals by taking them to rehabilitation centers and caring for them until they return to a normal lifestyle. The government’s intention is to help, not punish. Let’s support the victims for a better society,” he said in the video.

Railways Fulfills Promise: Coach Factory to Be Established in Kazipet

Hyderabad: In a significant development, the Railway Ministry has fulfilled another bifurcation promise by deciding to establish a Railway Coach Factory in Kazipet, Telangana. The ministry has issued orders to upgrade the existing Overhauling Workshop into a Manufacturing Unit.  

The Railway Board had initially written to the South Central Railway General Manager on July 5, 2023, regarding the upgrade. On September 9, 2024, the board directed the development of the unit for manufacturing LHB and EMU coaches. Plans are underway to enhance facilities at the Kazipet Railway Manufacturing Unit to support coach production.  

The decision was disclosed during a meeting between Telangana and central officials organized by the Home Ministry to review the implementation of bifurcation assurances.

రాంగోపాల్ వర్మ భిన్నమైన ‘వ్యూహం’తో ముందుకు వెళుతున్నారు. పోలీసుల విచారణకు హాజరు కాకుండా.. పరారీలో ఉన్నట్టుగా వార్తలు వస్తున్న నేపథ్యంలో ఆయన ఎంచక్కా టీవీ ఛానెళ్లకు ఇంటర్వ్యూలు ఇస్తున్నారు. ఏడాది కిందట పెట్టిన పోస్టులకు సంబంధించి ఇప్పుడు కేసులు నమోదు కావడమే విచిత్రంగా ఉన్నదంటూ ఆయన ఆశ్చర్యం వ్యక్తం చేస్తున్నారు. ఒకవైపు తాను పోలీసు, జ్యుడిషియరీ వ్యవస్థలను గౌరవించే వ్యక్తిని అని చెబుతూనే.. మరోవైపు తన మీద కేసులు నమోదు చేయడాన్నే ఆయన తప్పు పడుతున్నారు.

తాను ఏడాది కిందట ముగ్గురు వ్యక్తులపై పోస్టులు పెడితే.. ఇప్పుడు నాలుగు వేర్వేరు ప్రాంతాల్లో వేర్వేరు వ్యక్తులకు మనోభావాలు దెబ్బతిన్నాయని.. తాను ఎవరి మీదనైతే పోస్టులు పెట్టానో వారికి ఏమీ కాలేదని రాంగోపాల్ వర్మ వెటకారంగా మాట్లాడుతున్నారు. వాళ్ల మీద పోస్టులు పెడితే.. వీళ్ల మనోభావాలు దెబ్బతినడానికి అసలు నేరాలకు సంబంధించిన సెక్షన్లు ఎలా వర్తిస్తాయో తనకు అర్థం కావడం లేదని వర్మ అంటున్నారు. రాంగోపాల్ వర్మకు అర్థం కాకపోయినంత మాత్రాన చట్టాలను సవరించాల్సిన అవసరం లేదుకదా అనేది ప్రజల మాట.

ఎందుకంటే- హిందువులకు ఆరాధ్యుడైన దేవేడు రాముడి మీద ఎవరైనా అసభ్య పోస్టులు పెడితే.. దాని వల్ల తమ మనోభావాలు దెబ్బతిన్నాయని హిందువులైన వారే కేసులు పెడతారు. రాంగోపాల్ వర్మ వాదనను గమనిస్తే.. స్వయంగా రాముడు వచ్చి కేసు పెడితే తప్ప తాను స్పందించను అని అంటున్నట్టుగా ఉంది.
రాంగోపాల్ వర్మ మీడియా ఇంటర్వ్యూలు, తాజా ట్వీట్లు పోలీసులను రెచ్చగొట్టేలా ఉండడం కూడా గమనార్హం. ఎలాగంటే.. పోలీసులు తనను అరెస్టు చేయడానికి అసలు రానే లేదని ఆయన చాలా డాంబికంగా ప్రకటిస్తున్నారు.

పోలీసులు తనకోసం తమిళనాడు, మహారాష్ట్ర, ఎక్కడెక్కడో వెతుకుతున్నట్టుగా చెప్పుకుంటున్నారని, అలాగని మీడియాలు వార్తలు వస్తున్నాయని.. అవేవీ నిజం కాదని అన్నారు. పోలీసులు ఇప్పటిదాకా తన ‘డెన్’లో అడుగు పెట్టలేకపోయారని రాంగోపాల్ వర్మ అంటుండడం విశేషం. అరెస్టు చేయడానికి వచ్చిన వారే అయితే.. తన ఆఫీసు బయటినుంచి వెళ్లిపోకుండా కనీసం ఆఫీసులోపలకు వచ్చి చూసి ఉంటారు కదా.. అలాంటిది ఇప్పటిదాకా జరగనేలేదు.. అని కూడా రాంగోపాల్ వర్మ అంటున్నారు. అయితే వర్మ తరఫున వేసిన పిటిషన్ గురువారం హైకోర్టులో సోమవారానికి వాయిదా పడడంతో ఆయన అప్పటిదాకా అజ్ఞాతంలోనే ఉంటారని పలువురు భావిస్తున్నారు.

Varma Hints at Conspiracy Behind Multiple Legal Cases

Renowned filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma has raised suspicions of a conspiracy after multiple cases were filed against him in various districts simultaneously. He stated that this prompted him to apply for anticipatory bail. Sharing a detailed 22-point post on X, Varma clarified that while he does not blame anyone, the sequence of events suggests something unusual is happening behind the scenes.  

In his post titled “My Case – RGV,” Varma outlined the details of the cases and sections filed against him. He questioned their applicability and refuted claims of fleeing, asserting that he remains in his office and has not been approached by the police for arrest.  

Key Highlights from Varma’s Statements:  

1. Presence and Arrest Claims: Refuting rumors of being on the run, Varma stated he is working from his office and occasionally stepping out for film-related commitments. He added that police have neither visited his office nor indicated any intent to arrest him.  

2. Basis of Complaints: He explained that the cases stem from political satire memes he allegedly posted a year ago. These complaints, he claimed, were suddenly filed by unrelated individuals from different districts of Andhra Pradesh, leading to nine cases within days.  

3. Legal Sections Invoked: Varma detailed the sections filed against him, including forgery, spreading false information, defamation, and inciting enmity. He argued that these do not apply to the memes in question, which he described as harmless satire.  

4. Freedom of Speech: Emphasizing Article 19(1)(a) of the Constitution, Varma defended his right to free expression, including through satire and digital memes. He criticized the misuse of legal provisions against creative content and warned of the implications for free speech in a democratic society.  

5. Conspiracy Allegations: Highlighting the coordinated nature of the cases, he suspected an orchestrated effort to target him. However, he refrained from accusing any specific individuals or groups.  

6. Media Sensationalism: Varma dismissed media reports suggesting that police teams are searching for him across states, labeling them as baseless sensationalism.  

7. Cooperation with Authorities: He confirmed that he has requested additional time to respond to notices due to his professional commitments and expressed willingness to cooperate, including attending inquiries virtually.  

Varma concluded his statements by reiterating his respect for the law while asserting his right to seek legal remedies. He also criticized the media for creating a dramatic narrative, adding, “If I had their storytelling talent, I could make great films!”
