Mega Brother Nagababu Alters Decision on Rajya Sabha Contest

Andhra Pradesh politics has been witnessing a spree of activities following Pawan Kalyan’s visit to Delhi and the political development that followed. During the visit, Pawan Kalyan had important meetings with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other key Union ministers. However, his return to the state and his forceful actions regarding Kakinada Port have become a point of focus. The Election Commission of India recently announced a schedule to fill three vacant Rajya Sabha seats from Andhra Pradesh, following the resignation of three YSRCP members. One seat is expected to be claimed by Beeda Mastan Rao, who switched from YSRCP to TDP. The other two seats are now set to be contested by candidates from TDP, Jana Sena, and BJP. BJP is reportedly considering appointing R. Krishnaiah as the Chairman of the BC Commission, which could lead to his seat being filled by a BJP candidate. This development is putting Jana Sena in a position to make crucial decisions regarding its approach to the Rajya Sabha nominations.

In the midst of all this political hullabaloo, Nagababu went to social media to clarify his position on the Rajya Sabha nomination rumors. He put out a tweet stating that Pawan’s visit to Delhi was not for personal political mileage but for the developmental needs of the state. Nagababu reiterated that he had no political ambitions of his own and was always for Pawan. He also had reportedly been in discussions with party leaders, expressing the fear that if he accepts a seat in the Rajya Sabha, it will only give some credibility to the rumors surrounding Pawan’s political agenda.

With all these developments, it is now being asked on everyone’s lips whether Nagababu will actually be nominated for a Rajya Sabha seat. This political drama in Andhra Pradesh promises to have enormous implications for the future of the state.

Konda Surekha Accuses Praveen Kumar Behind conspiracies In Gurukulas

Alleging that some people are trying to obstruct Revanth Reddy’s regime and trying to bring bad name to the government, Forest and Endowment Minister Konda Surekha accused that former civil servant RS Praveen Kumar of being behind the conspiracies in the Gurukuls, particularly food poisoning incidents  

She alleged that he was the secretary of the Gurukuls in the past, and at that time his followers were appointed as staff without the government’s permission. She was furious that now they are conspiring against the government to smear the government. She alleged that there was massive misuse of funds when RS Praveen Kumar was the secretary of the Gurukuls.

She said that he was removed as secretary only after allegations of corruption were made. She warned that this matter will not be left unattended and a thorough investigation will be conducted and the accused will be punished severely. The minister recalled that BRS leaders had complained in the past that RS Praveen Kumar had misused crores of rupees of funds.

Surekha said that Rs.99 crores had been spent without tenders in the past. She said that 103 Gurukul buildings were rented out to relatives of BRS leaders. She said that RS Praveen Kumar joined BSP to win over Dalit voters.

She alleged that RS Praveen Kumar ran a mafia in the past. She said that the government is giving an Indiramma house and a job to the family of the student who died in Wankidi. She lamented that the opposition is trying to use the death of a Gurukul student for political gain.

Minister Konda Surekha said that special treatment was given to the girl who was treated at NIMS, but she died. Did you get any help if someone died in the previous government?, she asked. If you are so sad, she advised BRS leaders to give one crore rupees to the girl’s family. She said that the officials responsible for the food poisoning incident in her government have also been suspended.

Chandrababu Decided To Act Firmly Against private Land Grabbers

Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has decided to take a firm stand against private land grabbers who have looted government lands and the revenue officials who have helped them, during the previous regime. He has ordered the Revenue Department to register criminal cases with solid evidence against land grabbers and officials who have become key partners in the illegal activities by making the revenue system a slave to them.

He has directed that no one should be spared and that those responsible for looting government lands should not be spared under any circumstances. He has made it clear that a criminal case should not be filed on the orders of the government and that clear evidence should be attached to show how many violations of the law the officer facing charges has committed upon receiving the complaint.

The CCLA has submitted the re-verification report of the land records being conducted in the state for the last six months to the Chief Minister. According to the report, 13,59,805 acres of assigned, dotted, inam and conditional patta lands were de-notified from the list of prohibited lands 22A during the Jaganmohan Reddy’s regime.

The coalition government is re-verifying the records of those lands with teams of deputy collectors. So far, the records of 13.48,254 acres of land have been verified. The records of 11,551 acres are yet to be verified. The land that was illegally de-notified from the list 22A in violation of the Assigned Lands (Prohibition of Transfer-POT) Act, GO 596 and inam laws has been determined to be 4,21,433.97 acres. It is learnt that the Chief Minister was shocked to see these statistics.

After reviewing the records, the Revenue Department has selected the top ten mandals in terms of land irregularities. These are in Sri Sathya Sai, Chittoor and Annamayya districts and directed to initiate action against land grabbers.

Meanwhile, the Chief Minister said that revenue conferences should be held in December. He said that the requests received from the public and the orders given by the authorities to resolve them should be included online. He said that a special auditing should be conducted with a third-party organization on the resolution of those requests.

Water Resources Minister Nimmala Rama Naidu has accused former chief minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy of constantly spewing venom at Polavaram. He said that there was no mention of the stages of the Polavaram project anywhere in the past, and he was furious that YS Jagan had written letters saying that the height of 41.15 and 45.72 meters had been proposed after he came to power.

He said that even when the then Technical Advisory Committee approved Rs 55,548 crore for the Polavaram project during the TDP regime, there was no mention of the stages. He asserted that there is no question of reducing the height of Polavaram under any circumstances: He criticized the Jagan government for the idea of 41.15 meters.

He said that a proposal has been sent to the PPA and CWC to maintain the water at a height of 41.15 meters. He objected that the YSRCP is again alleging that the Union Cabinet approved Rs 12,157 crore, but there is no mention of the height of the project. The double engine coalition government at the center and in the state has made it clear that there is no question of reducing the height of Polavaram under any circumstances, he added.

Minister Nimmala Raman Naidu wondered how Jagan can claim that his name is not in the power deal with SEKI, after the FBI charge sheet mentioned about the Chief Minister receiving bribes. He asked whether Jagan was not the Chief Minister at the time the deal was signed? Then,  who was the CM then?

He questioned whether Jagan’s wife Bharathi Redda, Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy, and Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy acted as CMs? He accused Jagan of buying power in advance, even though power was supposed to come from 2024 as per the deal, because there were elections.

The minister questioned why Jagan, who claims to have created wealth, has increased power charges 9 times. He said that the sins committed in 2019-24 are still haunting the people and the DISCOMs. He was furious that the DISCOMs had left with debts of Rs 18,000 crore. He criticized Jagan for having a patent for lies.

Minister Narayana says Amaravati works Begins In January

Municipal Administration Minister Dr. P. Narayana has revealed that works in the Amaravati capital region will begin from January next year. The Cabinet Sub-Committee on land allocation to various institutions in the Amaravati area met on Friday and took several key decisions.

Minister said that the sub-committee has approved the allocation of 20 acres for the establishment of a medical college along with the ESI Hospital. He said that 5 acres have been allocated to the Central Institute of Tools and Design and 0.8 acres have been allocated to the Indira Gandhi National Open University. Moreover, 15 acres have been allocated to the BasavaTarakam Cancer Institute.

He said that 5 acres have been allocated to the L&T (Larsen and Toubro) Skill Training Institute and 10 acres have been allocated to the Brahmakumari Education Society. It has given full approval to the 25 acres previously allocated to TTD. The land allocation process will be completed by next month, he added.

Minister Narayana clarified on this occasion that a policy will be prepared on the issue of prices. He said that the tender process for the construction of 360 kilometers of trunk roads and the remaining towers will be completed by the end of this December.  He said that the deadline for several institutions allocated during the previous TDP government has been extended once again.

Dr Narayana said that lands were given to 131 people in the past and that they are also giving lands to new people. He explained that lands are being given to those who were given lands in the past at the same prices as then and that a policy will be made on the issue of prices.

He recalled how YS Jaganmohan Reddy regime shelved Amaravati capital works in the name of three capitals, but it  has finally regained its former glory with the return of the TDP-led coalition government in the state. Not only construction in the capital, but the construction of the Polavaram project, the lifeblood of Andhra Pradesh, has also gained momentum, he added.

Sundeep Kishan to Star in Jason Sanjay’s Directorial Debut

Telugu actor Sundeep Kishan has been announced as the lead for an upcoming bilingual project in Tamil and Telugu. The film marks the directorial debut of Jason Sanjay, son of Tamil superstar Vijay, under the banner of Lyca Productions.  

Unlike many star kids who choose to step into acting, Jason Sanjay is making his entry into the film industry as a director. The choice of Sundeep Kishan as the lead actor has generated significant excitement in both Tamil and Telugu cinema circles.  

Lyca Productions recently unveiled the motion poster for the film, accompanied by an official announcement. Renowned composer Thaman will provide the music, while details about the rest of the cast are expected to be revealed soon. The project is slated to begin filming in January 2025.
