Bandi Sanjay Accuses Congress, BRS of Divisive Politics

Union Minister Bandi Sanjay has alleged that the Congress and BRS are making anti-national remarks and conspiring to divide the country. He claimed that a deliberate effort is being made to push the nation toward division and asserted that the BJP is poised to come to power in Telangana. He made these statements during a media interaction in Karimnagar on the occasion of Ugadi.

Bandi Sanjay accused the Congress of previously dividing the country along religious lines and now attempting to do so under the guise of South Indian state politics. He further stated that those engaging in such conspiracies should be dealt with severely.

Calling for action against the KCR family over alleged corruption, he criticized Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s remarks on avoiding revenge politics, stating that they indicate a tacit understanding between the Congress and BRS. He demanded strict legal action against those involved in corruption.

Addressing the rice distribution scheme, Bandi Sanjay claimed that the central government is funding the supply of fine rice while the Congress is taking undue credit. He stated that the Centre spends ₹40 per kg on rice, whereas the Congress government contributes only ₹10. He insisted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s image should be displayed in connection with the scheme.

RSS Is India’s Banyan Tree of Immortal culture, says PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is on a first time visit to the RSS headquarters in Nagpur on Sunday, said that the RSS was like India’s banyan tree of immortal culture and modernisation.

PM Modi, during his visit to the Smruti Mandir which holds the memorials dedicated to RSS founder Keshav Baliram Hedgewar, and second chief M S Golwalkar, wrote a message in Hindi in the visitors’ book. “The memorial of the two strong pillars of RSS is an inspiration to lakhs of swayamsevaks who have dedicated themselves to the service of the nation.”

PM Modi also laid the foundation stone of the Madhav Netralaya Premium Centre building and visited Deekshabhoomi, where Dr B R Ambedkar had embraced Buddhism in 1956.  He praised the selfless service of RSS volunteers across various spheres and regions of the country, highlighting their role in nation-building, social service, and cultural preservation.

He further said that “…The ideas that were seeded a hundred years back are before the world like a ‘vat vriksh’ today. Principles and ideologies give it heights and the lakhs and crores of swayamsevak are the branches of it”. PM Modi also extended greetings on the occasion of Gudi Padwa to the people.

“Many auspicious festivals are starting. Gudi Padwa, Ugadi, and Navreh festivals are being celebrated in different parts of India. The centenary year of RSS is this year. I got the opportunity to pay tribute at Smruti Mandir. We also celebrated the 75th years of Indian Independence recently. Next month, there is the birth anniversary of BR Ambedkar, I remembered and took blessings at Deekshabhoomi. I want to wish people on Navratri and other festivals,” he added.

Modi had last visited the RSS headquarters in 2013, when he was serving as the chief minister of Gujarat, for a meeting with RSS chief Dr Mohan Bhagwat. He had met the RSS chief seeking his blessings at a time when the majority of BJP Parliamentary Board members were opposing declaring him as Prime Ministerial candidate. Ultimately, with the intervention of Dr Bhagwat, he became the face of 2014 polls.

This is his first as the Prime Minister. The trip gains significance given the tensions witnessed between BJP and RSS in the days leading up to the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, after the BJP failed to secure an absolute majority in the Lok Sabha. Moreover, soon PM Modi is crossing 75 years old, which was unofficially adopted as the retirement from holding any office both in BJP and also in the RSS.

“One cup at a time! From the lush Araku Valley to the heart of Paris, it’s inspiring to see this truly Made-in-AP product earning the global recognition it deserves. How about incorporating design elements that celebrate the tribal roots of Araku Coffee, showcasing its journey from bean to cup?”, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu expressed his joy overreaching of Araku coffee to Paris.

Chandrababu retweeted Anand Mahindra’s tweet that the journey from bean to cup in Araku Coffee, which comes from tribal roots, is exemplary for everyone. The flavors of Andhra Araku Coffee are spreading internationally. Araku Cafe has already been operating in the Le Marais area of Paris since 2017.

Recently, a second Araku Coffee shop was opened near the Pantheon in Paris itself. Mahindra Group Chairman Anand Mahindra posted this on ‘X’ on Saturday. ‘Our second Araku Cafe in Paris. Many more to come. The world will wake up with Araku Coffee’, he said in the post.

On the other hand, the AP government is working to further promote Araku Coffee. As part of this, 2 Araku coffee stalls have been set up in the AP Assembly premises. Another Araku coffee stall has also been opened in the Legislative Council premises.

As part of promoting Araku coffee, the AP government is working to provide natural Araku coffee without the use of any chemicals to all the members of Parliament in the country. The government has decided to bring its taste, which has already found a place in the Parliament canteen, to the members.

For this, two instant coffee packets, ready-made coffee bottles, and special gift boxes containing a small book explaining the history of Araku coffee have been made. 12 states in the country produce coffee. Andhra Pradesh is one of them.

Coffee gardens are spread over one lakh and a half acres in Alluri Seetharamaraju district of AP. The highest quality coffee beans are produced here. That is why Araku coffee has received international recognition. Since it is grown in organic methods, the demand for the coffee crop here is very high. At an altitude of 3600 above sea level, tribal families cultivate it in a traditional manner.
