CM Chandrababu says TDP Never Turned Its Back Despite crisis, Moreover Turning crisis Into opportunities

Chief Minister and TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu said that despite facing many crises since the party’s inception, Telugu Desam Party has never turned its back. Moreover, he said that it has been moving forward by turning crisis into opportunities for 43 years.

Chandrababu, who participated in the party’s 43rd foundation day celebrations held at NTR Bhavan in Mangalagiri, unfurled the yellow flag. He said that he was saluting the yellow army that lives the party as its lifeblood. Praising NTR as a great man who paved the way for the welfare of the poor, he emphasized that the party will exist as long as the Telugu people exist.

Chief Minister Chandrababu aspired to pass on the legacy of Telugu Desam to future generations and said that we are all heirs to the party but not its leaders. He made it clear that if the activists are just given papers, they will not get positions and they have to work at the field level.

Narendra Modi’s Financial support To AP Is only Meagre In Reality!

Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, leaders of both TDP and Jana Sena on one side; Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP leaders on the other side are claiming that the center has been providing huge financial support for the development of Andhra Pradesh. They are stating that it was due to crucial support that both TDP and Jana Sena are extending for the central government, after BJP failed to get a majority of Lok Sabha seats on its own.

But the reality is different and only extending megre financial support. In fact, according to the latest figures released by the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG), the state is only getting handouts from the Centre. In the backdrop of the financial year ending, the CAG has recently released the figures till February.

According to the CAG analysis, the state government had estimated that Rs 30,333 crore would come from the Centre in the current financial year for the implementation of schemes and programmes. However, the CAG concluded that only Rs 12,832 crore had been received in 11 months. This means that not even half of the estimated amount had been received.

The CAG confirmed that Rs 1,166 crore had been received per month, according to which the funds received as per the estimate would have been received only if more than Rs 17,000 crore had been received in the last month. According to the calculations made by the Finance Department officials, the funds from the Centre were not as expected in the month of March either.

This is giving the impression that the Centre has shown a stubborn hand to the state in the current financial year. On the other hand, the debt burden is increasing. While it was proposed to take loans of up to Rs. 68,000 crores in the budget, it has crossed Rs. 90,000 crores within 11 months. The deficit has also reached the same level.

According to the latest figures, a revenue deficit of 219 percent has been recorded, while the fiscal deficit has reached 131 percent. While the total revenue for this financial year was estimated to be Rs. 2.69 lakh crore, it has been found that Rs. 2.32 lakh crore has been received including loans in 11 months.

It is noteworthy that only 84 percent of the revenue has come from GST, 58 percent from stamps and registrations, 64 percent from sales tax, and 66 percent from state excise. Though PM Modi promised liberal assistance for Amaravati capital construction, not a single rupee was released during the year.

Though it facilitated external and internal loans, the state government is yet to receive those amounts. At the end, during the present financial year, the state government may be unable to spend a single rupee received through the central government on the capital.

The former AP CID chief and Director General rank officer PV Sunil Kumar, who was suspended by the AP government earlier this month, for allegedly making repeated foreign visits without prior permission during the previous YSRCP regime, is seems to be approaching BJP’s `washing machine’ to get revocation of his suspension.

It may be recalled that he is also believed to be key person in custodial torture case of present Assembly Deputy Speaker and former YSRCP MP Raghurama Krishnam Raju. He will retire in about a year and as the Chandrababu Naidu-led government is keen on moving ahead with investigation against irregularities committed during the previous regime, he is fearing that it will be impossible to get a posting before his retirement.

Sunil Kumar is known for his proximity with former chief minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy and allegedly played key role in foisting false cases against several TDP leaders, illegal arrests and also resorting to custodial torture to please the government bosses at that time. If the present cases continue further, it will be difficult for him even to get retirement benefits.

To come out from this crisis, he is said to be approaching BJP leaders seeking their help to save him from the present crisis. He is seeking revocation of suspension against him so that he would go for deputation on a central government assignment. In return, he is promising he will join BJP after his retirement.

He is claiming that he is having lakhs of people as followers in the state from dalit communities, promising to get their support to BJP in the next elections. Already, he has reportedly approached several key BJP leaders in this regard.

It is an open secret that BJP is known as a `washing machine’, in which all corrupt people from the opposition camp get clean chits once joining the party. It may be recalled, former DGP Dinesh Reddy also joined BJP and was able to get relief from a CBI case.

In 2014, he contested from Malkajgiri as YSRCP candidate, but fared very badly. Soon after the formation of Narendra Modi government at the Center, he joined BJP and tried to contest from Nellore Lok Sabha seat in 2019 elections. But the TDP- BJP alliance was broken at that time, he kept away from the contest and also practically left politics.

Several other IAS and IPS officers, who were known for their proximity with Jaganmohan Reddy’s regime and facing severe accusations of corruption and irregularities, are also able to secure good positions in Chandrababu Naidu’s regime or avoid arrests with the blessings of key officials at PMO. Now, Sunil Kumar also seems to be following in their foot-steps besides his proximity with Christian organizations.

Minister Narayana Asks officials To Take steps To Ensure No shortage of Drinking water

Urban Development Minister Dr P. Narayana has instructed officials to take steps to ensure that there is no shortage of drinking water in urban areas. A teleconference was held on Friday  on the issues of summer action plan and drinking water shortage in urban areas.

He asked the officials about water supply through tankers, filling of summer storage tanks, repairs of borewells and other issues and got details. He asked them to tell what the officials have done so far on the steps to be taken in Rayalaseema areas and Prakasam district.

Later, the Minister said that there should be no delay in the issue of drinking water supply in the context of the possibility of high intensity of this summer. He said that issues such as filling tanks first, repairing repaired boreholes, and deepening them in areas where water level has decreased should not be neglected and work should start from now.

He said that in view of the severity of the problem in Prakasam district, more priority should be given there. He said that water is still being supplied to 1343 wards in 43 municipalities every other day, and there are chances of water shortages there, and he ordered precautions.

He asked that water be supplied through tankers if necessary in urban areas where water is supplied once in three days. He suggested that tankers should be taken in advance in all municipalities and that there should be no rush at the last minute.

He also said that the commissioners can take direct action regarding borewell repairs. He said that funds can be released from the emergency account immediately. He warned that strict action will be taken if the work is delayed in the name of funds.

He said that there are more problems especially in the suburban areas, and special attention should be paid there. At the same time, he suggested that special attention should be paid to sanitation. Urban Development Department Principal Secretary Suresh Kumar, Director Sampath Kumar, Engineer in Chief Marianna and others participated in the teleconference.

Uproar over ACB Issuing summons To Vijay Kumar Reddy promising No Arrest

The way the ACB officials have issued notices to former I&PR Commissioner Tumma Vijay Kumar Reddy in the case of extortion of government funds to Sakshi media during the YSRCP government, has been raising uproar among TDP circles and also government lawyers.

After he failed to attend to the notice given earlier, again on April 2, the ACB officials issued notices asking him to appear for questioning at the Guntur ACB regional office. Surprisingly, in this notice he was given assurance that he will not be arrested if he attended for questioning, though an FIR was registered against him.

Earlier, on November 14, 2024 the ACB issued notices asking him to appear for questioning in the case registered under Section 7 of the Prevention of Corruption Act. It said that all the necessary documents should be brought during the hearing of the case.

In the first notice, the ACB stated that if he does not appear for questioning, he will be arrested under Section 35 (6) of the BNSS. However, the High Court government lawyers, lawyers and TDP sources are also now wondering how the ACB this time mentions in the notice that Vijay Kumar will not be arrested.

It is known that Vijayakumar Reddy had previously evaded the ACB notices stating that he was not available. Meanwhile, the ACB has already issued notices to Vijay Kumar, who has violated the rules and looted hundreds of crores of rupees from Jagan Media and Blue Media in the form of advertisements.

The notices stated that he should appear for the inquiry. Since he was not available, the ACB sent notices to his mail as well as to his residence in Hyderabad. However, the former commissioner evaded the ACB inquiry. He replied that he was busy and would come whenever he could.

In addition, Vijay Kumar had also filed an anticipatory bail petition in the High Court. Since Vijay Kumar did not appear for the notices for the first time, the ACB issued notices to him once again. Moreover, the ACB also mentioned in the notice that he should be arrested.

The coalition government, which focused on his irregularities, issued orders for a Vigilance and Enforcement investigation. It entrusted the responsibility of taking further action based on the vigilance report to the ACB. With this, the ACB officials not only registered a case against Vijay Kumar in Guntur, but also issued notices asking him to appear for investigation.

However, Vijay Kumar, who had initially replied that he did not have time for notices, now many are wondering how he will respond to the present notice? Will he appear for the investigation or not?

ఎన్టీఆర్ జిల్లా తెదేపా అధ్యక్షుడు నెట్టెం రఘురాం, విజయవాడ ఎంపీ కేశినేని చిన్ని, పార్టీ ప్రాంతీయ సమన్వయ కర్త మంతెన సత్యనారాయణ రాజుల్ని కమిటీగా ఏర్పాటుచేసి తిరువూరులో ఏం జరుగుతోందో నివేదిక ఇవ్వాలని ఆదేశించారు. పదినెలలనుంచి అసలు తిరువూరులో ఏం జరుగుతోందో స్టడీ చేసి చెప్పాలని పురమాయించారు. అక్కడి క్షేత్రస్థాయి రాజకీయాలు, విభేదాలు, కొలికపూడి పై వస్తున్న వివిధ ఆరోపణలు, ఆయన వ్యవహార సరళి వీటన్నింటి మీద అభిప్రాయాలు అడిగారు. ఆయన నియోజకవర్గంలో తరచూ వివాదాల్లో చిక్కకుంటూనే ఉన్నారు. అక్కడ మార్కెట్ కమిటీ మాజీ ఛైర్మన్ రమేశ్ రెడ్డితో విభేదాలున్నాయి. మహిళతో అసభ్య సంభాషణను నెపంగా చూపుతూ.. ఆయన మీద పార్టీ చర్యలు తీసుకోవాలని కొలికపూడి డిమాండ్ చేస్తున్నారు. 48 గంటల్లోగా రమేశ్ రెడ్డిపై చర్యలు తీసుకోకపోతే పార్టీకి, ఎమ్మెల్యే పదవికి రాజీనామా చేస్తానని హుకుం జారీచేశారు. సదరు రమేశ్ రెడ్డికి ఎంపీ కేశినేని చిన్ని అండదండలు ఉన్నట్టుగా, ఆయనే అతడిని కాపడుతున్నట్టుగా అర్థం వచ్చేలా కూడా ఆరోపణలు చేశారు. కొలికపూడి శ్రీనివాసరావు.. స్ట్రెయిట్ గా కేశినేని చిన్నిని ఇరికించడానికే ఈ ఆరోపణలుచేసినట్టుగా అందరూ భావిస్తున్నారు.

పార్టీ వ్యవహారాలు అంతర్గతంగా చర్చించుకోకుండా.. ఇలా బజార్నపడేలా మాట్లాడడంపై పార్టీ సీరియస్ గా ఉంది. ఈ ముగ్గురు సభ్యుల కమిటీ నివేదిక ఇచ్చిన తర్వాత.. కొలికపూడికి షోకాజు నోటీసు ఇచ్చి వివరణ తీసుకోవాలని, అవసరమైతే సస్పెండ్ చేయడానికి కూడా వెనుకాడేది లేదని పార్టీ వర్గాలు చెబుతున్నాయి. క్రమశిక్షణ తప్పి వ్యవహరించే నాయకులకు ఒక హెచ్చరిక లాగా ఆయన మీద చర్యలుండాలని పలువురు వ్యాఖ్యానిస్తున్నారు.

వైయస్ జగన్మోహన్ రెడ్డి పరిపాలన కాలంలో కాంట్రిబ్యూటరీ పెన్షన్ స్కీం ఉద్యోగుల వేదనలు చెప్పనలవి కాదు. వారిని ప్రభుత్వం ఎన్ని రకాలుగా వేధించవచ్చునో అన్ని రకాలుగానూ వేధించింది. తమకు ఇచ్చిన మాట నిలబెట్టుకోమని అడిగినందుకు వారి మీద రకరకాల కేసులు పెట్టారు. జగన్ ను నమ్మినందుకు చివరికి వారికి వేదన మాత్రమే మిగిలింది. కూటమి ప్రభుత్వం ఏర్పడిన తర్వాత మొట్ట మొదటిసారిగా సిపిఎస్ ఉద్యోగుల వదనాలలో చిరునవ్వులు విరుస్తున్నాయి. తమకు న్యాయంగా దక్కవలసినదే అయినప్పటికీ గత ఐదేళ్ల కాలంలో ఎన్నడూ సకాలంలో దక్కించుకో లేకపోయిన- ఆ ఉద్యోగులు ప్రభుత్వం తరఫు మ్యాచింగ్ ప్లాంటును కూటమి ప్రభుత్వం ఎలాంటి బకాయిలు లేకుండా ఒకేసారిగా పూర్తిగా చెల్లించడం పట్ల హర్షం వ్యక్తం చేస్తున్నారు.

సిపిఎస్ ఉద్యోగులతో జగన్మోహన్ రెడ్డి గతంలో ఒక స్థాయిలో ఆడుకున్నారనే సంగతి అందరికీ తెలుసు. ఏదో ఒక రకంగా అన్ని వర్గాలకు చెందిన ప్రజలను మభ్యపెట్టి మాయ చేసి ఎట్టి పరిస్థితులలోను అధికారంలోకి రావాలని కలలుగన్నటువంటి వైఎస్ జగన్మోహన్ రెడ్డి తాను పాదయాత్ర చేసిన కాలంలో సిపిఎస్ ఉద్యోగులకు ఇచ్చిన వంచనాత్మకమైన హామీ.. వారికి పాత పెన్షన్ స్కీం పునరుద్ధరిస్తానని చెప్పడం. పరిపాలన గురించి గానీ ప్రభుత్వ వ్యవస్థ గురించి గానీ ఒక హామీ ఇచ్చే ముందు దాని వలన ఎలాంటి పర్యవసానాలు ఉంటాయో.. ప్రభుత్వం మీద ఎలాంటి భారం పడుతుందో అనే  దిశగా కనీసం జ్ఞానం కూడా లేనటువంటి జగన్మోహన్ రెడ్డి- తాను అధికారంలోకి వచ్చిన వెంటనే కేవలం వారం రోజుల వ్యవధిలో సిపిఎస్ ఉద్యోగులకు పాత పెన్షన్ పునరుద్ధరిస్తానని ఒక బూటకపు హామీ ఇచ్చారు. తీరా అధికారంలోకి వచ్చిన తర్వాత ఆ హామీ ఎంతటి అసాధ్యమైనదో ఆయనకు అర్థమైంది. జగన్ మాట నిలబెట్టుకుంటారు అని సుదీర్ఘకాలం నిరీక్షించిన సిపిఎస్ ఉద్యోగులు గట్టిగా డిమాండ్ చేయడం ప్రారంభించిన తర్వాత.. ప్రత్యామ్నాయంగా జిపిఎస్ పింఛన్ ఇస్తానని మాయమాటలు చెబుతూ మంత్రులు కమిటీని వేసి ఉద్యోగ సంఘాల ప్రతినిధులను తీవ్రంగా అవమానించేలా భేటీలు నిర్వహించారు. తమకు ఇచ్చిన హామీ గురించి కోరుతున్నామే  తప్ప అదనంగా ఏమీ అడగడం లేదని సిపిఎస్ ఉద్యోగులు ఎంతగా మొరపెట్టుకున్నా ఆలోచించలేదు. దీక్షలు చేస్తే అరెస్టులు చేయించారు. మొత్తానికి ఆయన ప్రభుత్వం పతనమైన తరువాత చంద్రబాబు నాయుడు సారథ్యంలో ఎన్ డి ఏ కూటమి సర్కారు ఏర్పడింది.
గత 17 సంవత్సరాల కాలంలో ఎన్నడూ లేని విధంగా సిపిఎస్ ఉద్యోగుల మ్యాచింగ్ గ్రాంటును ఏ మాత్రం బకాయిలు లేకుండా వారి ప్రాన్ ఖాతాలకు ఒకేసారి చెల్లించింది కూటమి ప్రభుత్వం. గతంలో ఎప్పుడూ కూడా కనీసం 12 నెలల బకాయిలు ఉంటూనే వచ్చేవి. ఇప్పుడు ఒకేసారిగా దాదాపు 2,300 కోట్ల మ్యాచింగ్ గ్రాంట్ ను ప్రభుత్వం ఉద్యోగుల ఖాతాలకు చెల్లించింది.
