CM Chandrababu’s pressure To Expand Amaravati ORR In view of Future Needs paid off

In view of future needs, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu’s pressure on the Center to expand the Amaravati Outer Ring Road (ORR) has paid off. The Central Government has agreed to acquire land with a width of 140 meters. It has also agreed to construct service roads on both sides of the ORR.

In 2018, the then Telugu Desam government proposed to acquire land with a width of 150 meters for the Amaravati ORR. It was also planned to build a railway line to run suburban trains in connection with the expansion of the ORR. Recently, the Alignment Approval Committee under the Central Government gave preliminary approval for the construction of a 189-kilometer-long 6-lane ORR.

However, it stated that land should be acquired only with a width of 70 meters. The committee suggested that the Railway Department be contacted, saying that they would not acquire land for the railway line or other needs. CM Chandrababu Naidu has written a letter to the Centre on this.

He also recently spoke to Union Minister Nitin Gadkari and explained to him that in the future the ORR will have to be expanded to 10 lanes and then there will be challenges in acquiring land. Keeping all this in mind, Chandrababu Naidu requested that land be acquired now with a width of 150 meters.

With this, Gadkari agreed to acquire land with a width of 140 meters. Recently, when the Alignment Approval Committee approved the Amaravati ORR, it approved the construction of a service road only towards the capital area. It was stated that the ORR does not need an outer side. CM Chandrababu discussed this with Gadkari as well.

He explained that only if there are service roads on both sides, the people of the villages and towns adjacent to the ORR can travel easily. Gadkari agreed to it. According to the preliminary approval of the Alignment Approval Committee, the cost of land acquisition for the 70-meter wide ORR is estimated to be Rs. 16,310 crore.

Now, the cost of land acquisition for the 140-meter wide ORR will increase. All the details will be included in the orders to be received by the state from the top officials of the central government soon.

Nara Lokesh To Distribute House plots To 3,000 Beneficiaries In Mangalagiri constituency This Month

From the first day of his victory from Mangalagiri, Minister Nara Lokesh has started implementing every promise he made. He is working hard to resolve the problems that have remained unresolved for many years. Similarly, he is going to fulfill the promise he made to the people of Mangalagiri constituency during the election in the next two days.

Minister Lokesh had promised during the last election that he would distribute house plots and give new clothes to the poor immediately after winning. As per that promise, 3000 poor people in the constituency will be given house plots along with silk clothes this month. The first patta will be handed over in Undavalli village on April 3.

Minister Lokesh will personally go to the residence of the beneficiaries and hand over the patta and launch the ‘Mana Illu – Mana Lokesh’ program. Later, he will hand over the pattas to the beneficiaries from April 4 on a stage being set up in an empty space near Don Bosco School in Mangalagiri.

Lokesh will hand over the pattas to Yerrabalem, Neerukonda and Kaja villagers on April 5, to the residents of Penumaka, Undavalli, Ippatam, Kolanukonda and Padmashali Bazaar on April 7, to the residents of Ratnala Cheruvu and Mahanadu-2 on April 8, to the beneficiaries of Sitanagaram, Salam Centre and Drivers Colony on April 11, and to the beneficiaries of Mahanadu-1 and Undavalli Centre on April 12.

The people of Mangalagiri constituency have been demanding regularization of the land they live in and the nest they have built with their wings with great difficulty for years. Many leaders have promised to solve their problems and benefited from the elections, but have not made the slightest effort to implement them.

But now the situation has changed. As the Mangalagiri MLA, Lokesh has put his sincerity towards the poor into action. In the last 10 months, Lokesh personally supervised everything from the officials going to the houses in coordination with various departments to collecting the details of the people living on government lands and filling the applications.

The minister is taking steps towards a solution that does not take even the most difficult forest lands and railway lands seriously. In the first phase, the stage has been set for the distribution of 3000 house titles.

The land of those living on government lands and the houses they have built will be regularized and the pattas will be distributed, giving them permanent rights. In total, arrangements are being made to distribute more than 3000 pattas in the Mangalagiri constituency.

SRH, HCA Reaches compromise on IPL passess Row After CM orders Vigilance probe

Following SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) threatening to quit Hyderabad, which was taken by the Chief Minister Revanth Reddy very seriously and ordered a probe by Vigilance and Enforcement officials, the Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) seems to have reached a compromise on IPL complimentary passes row.

After bitter accusations against each other in this regard, both SRH and HCA agreed that the allocation of 3,900 complimentary passes to HCA would remain unchanged during a meeting held on Tuesday, to address and resolve the issues.

The meeting, which took place at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium, was called by HCA secretary Mr R Devraj and was attended by key representatives from SRH. Both of them primarily confined to the allocation of complimentary passes to various stakeholders, a matter that had reportedly caused tension between the two entities.

Sun Risers Hyderabad (SRH), in their proposal, advocated for strict adherence to the tri-party agreement between SRH, HCA, and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). The agreement stipulates that 10 percent of the total stadium capacity across all sections should be allocated in a transparent and structured manner.

On the other hand, the HCA proposed maintaining the status quo with regard to the existing pass allocation system, which has been followed for years without issue. The proposal from HCA was to retain the current allocation of passes within each category, a practice that has traditionally been in place and followed as part of a long-standing system at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium.

In response to SRH’s concerns, HCA reassured the franchise that they would continue to honor the previously agreed-upon arrangements and maintain the integrity of the pass distribution system.

Just two days ago, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy made it clear that he will not tolerate harassment of SRH by the HCA office bearers so that forces SRH to quit from Hyderabad. As per the Chief Minister’s directions, 12 vigilance officers under the command of an SP-level officer conducted searches in the Uppal stadium.

They examined the stadium capacity and previous agreements with SRH. They inquired about how many tickets were being given and where they were going. They learned about the facilities allocated to SRH as per the agreement and the issue of locking the F-3 box. They mainly called HCA President Jaganmohan Rao as he was not available. The officers left after searching for about 9 hours till evening.

AP Government Moves Supreme Court to Cancel Former CID Chief Sanjay’s Bail

The government of Andhra Pradesh (AP) has intensified its court fight against former CID Chief Sanjay, filing a petition in the Supreme Court to withdraw his bail. Following this petition, the Supreme Court has now served notices to him. Sanjay is accused of grave corruption charges, specifically related to money laundering during his time in the fire department. Officials in the Vigilance Department alleged that they have strong evidence for abuse of funds, and therefore charges were laid against him.

To escape arrest, Sanjay had previously approached the AP High Court seeking relief, which ordered him to be released on bail. The state government, however, is challenging that order, requesting that his bail be revoked. Sanjay has been without an official assignment ever since the new government came to power and was subsequently suspended. Multiple corruption cases are also pending against him, with sources speculating that further investigations may reveal more wrongdoing.

Speculation abounds that the legal issues are connected to his past activities, specifically his involvement in filing CID cases against previous Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. While critics would claim that the actions of the government could be politically motivated, the administration has exercised caution so as not to incur such criticism. Sanjay’s suspension and legal issues might also be attributed to his provocative press briefings about Naidu’s cases, which supposedly violated official guidelines.

Numerous IPS officers who had extensive powers during Jagan Mohan Reddy’s rule are being scrutinized today. Despite the ruling party’s failure to make mass arrests, legal action against some of the officials is growing in intensity. Most cases are being dealt with restraint, but some officers might still incur serious legal repercussions as investigations continue.

Anand Mahindra Lauds Chandrababu Naidu’s Global Marketing

Mahindra & Mahindra Group Chairman Anand Mahindra, who has a very active social media presence, recently appreciated Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu for his visionary promotional strategies that catapulted Araku Coffee to the international arena. In a X (formerly Twitter) post, Mahindra praised Naidu’s initiatives for promoting Araku Coffee globally and attributed the Nandi Foundation, where Mahindra is the Chairman, as being instrumental to this achievement.

Mahindra’s post quickly trended and went viral, triggering a flood of conversations about Naidu’s creative marketing strategy. Mahindra highlighted how Araku Coffee is being promoted in upscale cafes in Paris, featuring digital screens that promote the rich tribal heritage of the Araku region. The coffee itself is packaged in the bright, colorful traditional dress of the tribal groups, reflecting India’s colourful diversity – an attention to detail that will speak loudly to the hearts of international coffee consumers.

Under Naidu’s guidance, the main goal is to bring Araku Coffee into international prominence. To ensure this, he has joined hands with industrialists under the Nandi Foundation, which is headed by Mahindra. The initial Araku Coffee stall in Paris was inaugurated under Mahindra’s supervision, and another stall is on the cards already.

Araku Coffee is cultivated organically by tribal families at an altitude of 3,600 feet, on 1.5 lakh acres of land, practicing traditional, chemical-free cultivation methods. The government of Andhra Pradesh has been going out of its way to encourage Araku Coffee, even organizing special counters in the state Assembly and Parliament, a record not set by any other state government in India.

As more demand for organic, high-quality coffee increases, the Andhra Pradesh government vows to increase Araku Coffee cultivation and global distribution. The Nandi Foundation remains a major facilitator in promoting this distinctive brand of coffee to new heights of success, where it becomes part of the world coffee map.
