Story:

Pablo Neruda, alias Jack (played by Siddhu Jonnalagadda), a uniquely gifted youngster who has always taken the road less traveled. Though brimming with talent and curiosity, Jack never quite fit into the conventional mold. His love for learning was never backed by structure, which left him without any specialized skills. The only person who truly believed in him was his mother—but her sudden passing shakes up his world.

Struggling to connect with a father who doesn’t understand his ambitions, Jack decides to forge his own path. He has no interest in regular 9-to-5 jobs. His dream? To become a RAW agent. He even clears the interview process. But before the position is confirmed, Jack sets his sights on a high-stakes mission—something big enough to prove himself worthy.

Taking matters into his own hands, Jack starts tailing a dangerous terrorist gang that the RAW agency is already watching. His goal is to beat them to it—to bring down the group before RAW can. But can a self-trained young man outpace India’s top intelligence officers? How will RAW respond when they discover Jack’s bold move? Will his mission succeed or spiral into chaos?

Review:

Siddhu Jonnalagadda takes on a new role in Jack, he never quite sheds his DJ Tillu persona. His rapid-fire dialogues and quirky behavior offer a few laughs, but the character feels out of sync with the film’s spy-thriller tone. While Siddhu tries hard to entertain, his comedy doesn’t blend well with the serious backdrop — leaving us unsure if it’s a strength or weakness.

Vaishnavi Chaitanya, as the female lead, doesn’t quite match Siddhu’s energy. She feels too young beside him and brings little uniqueness to her role. Prakash Raj reprises yet another RAW officer role, but it’s so overdone that it feels monotonous. Rahul Dev as the villain is routine, and even Naresh — who starts off well as Siddhu’s father — gets sidelined. The rest of the cast delivers forgettable performances.

The plot — a terrorist group trying to attack India and RAW trying to stop them — is painfully generic. That director Bommarillu Bhaskar, known for romantic dramas, chose to tackle this genre is surprising. Much like his previous misfire Ongole Gittha, Jack too feels like a poor fit. While Siddhu’s role has some spark, the rest of the script is dull and uninspired.

The film begins with some promise, especially the subplot of a father hiring a detective to spy on his son. Siddhu’s wacky behavior keeps things light early on, but once the “RAW mission” kicks in, things go downhill fast. Scenes meant to be thrilling turn laughable, and Prakash Raj’s character is reduced to comic relief — undermining the seriousness of the plot.

The romance track between Siddhu and Vaishnavi feels forced, with no chemistry. The first half is mildly engaging, but the second half collapses under predictable and flat writing. There’s no emotional depth or real motivation behind Siddhu’s mission, which disconnects the audience further. Only Siddhu’s jokes offer momentary relief.

Despite having three composers — Achu Rajamani, Sam CS, and Suresh Bobbili — the songs are forgettable, and the background score is underwhelming. Cinematography is decent, and production values are solid, but they can’t save the film.

In the end, Jack suffers from an identity crisis — stuck between being a comedy and a spy thriller, but succeeding at neither. Siddhu brings some fun, but without a strong story or emotional core, the film fails to leave an impact.

Look out Notices Issued Against Former YCP Minister Kakani Govardhan Reddy

The police have issued lookout notices against YSRCP leader and former minister Kakani Govardhan Reddy. The police have issued these notices after Kakani did not appear for the police investigation into the illegal mining, transportation and use of explosives against the rules. Steps have been taken to prevent Kakani from leaving the country.

The police have informed all airports and seaports. This notice was issued after the High Court rejected Kakani Govardhan Reddy’s anticipatory bail petition on Wednesday. Six police teams led by SP Krishnakanth have been deployed. They are searching intensively in Hyderabad, Bangalore and Chennai.

Kakani and four other accused have been absconding for the past 12 days. Meanwhile, the High Court rejected Kakani’s anticipatory bail petition. It also adjourned the hearing on the quash petition for two weeks. The police are collecting evidence on illegal quartz mining, large-scale use and transportation of explosives.

Kakani and Batch exported quartz and pulverizer worth over Rs 250 crore to foreign countries. The police are fully investigating the transfer of large amounts of money from abroad. The police are also investigating the companies that supplied the explosives, the people who bought them and their use.

The AP High Court gave a big shock to Kakani Govardhan Reddy on Wednesday. The court refused to provide protection to Kakani in the case registered by the Podalakur police in the illegal quartz mining case. The High Court bench rejected their request for interim bail. His lawyers argued in the High Court that the case should be dismissed as Kakani has no connection with this case.

During the previous government’s tenure, illegal mining took place in Varadaiahpalem village, which is very close to Kakani’s own village, Toderu. The police found that this mining took place in the eyes of Kakani, who was the then minister.

They threatened and chased away the Rusum Mines, which had been operating there for almost 30 years, and committed large-scale quartz irregularities in the area. In this context, the police registered a case against illegal mining in Nellore on February 16.

Kishan Reddy pressure on BJP High-command For Disciplinary Action Against MLA Raja Singh

The attitude of three-time BJP MLA Raja Singh defying party line and keeping away from party activities turned to be a challenging task for the party leadership. Moreover, his frequent critical statements against party decisions, targeting union minister and state party chief G Kishan Reddy created uproar within the party.

As bitter criticisms created severe damage to the reputation of Kishan Reddy, he has been reportedly bringing party high-command to take action against him. Senior leaders are worrying that speaking so harshly against a party leader Kishan Reddy will harm the party badly.

Raja Singh has been openly expressing his dissatisfaction with the leaders in the BJP for some time now. He has been protesting especially against the decisions being taken by the BJP in Telangana. Recently, after the BJP announced Gautam Rao as an MLC in Hyderabad, Raja Singh’s response became severe.

He commented that this means that groups are working in the party and only leaders from Kishan Reddy’s constituency are being rewarded, ignoring others in Greater Hyderabad. In the wake of Raja Singh’s comments, the party high command has reportedly asked the state leadership to submit a report.

In this context, it is reported that the state BJP leaders have analyzed Raja Singh’s comments and sent a full report. Accordingly, there is a campaign in political circles that the party may take disciplinary action against Raja Singh.

Being the only three-time MLA in the party and only one MLA won in Greater Hyderabad, he expected he would become Legislature Party leader. But, he was shocked after a newcomer into the party and also the first-time MLA was given this position.

Since then, Raja Singh is said to be acting unhappily. It seems that his role in the party and the feeling of not being given the respect he deserves have brought him to this level. The main point Raja Singh made was – the presence of groups in the party.

Earlier, he openly alleged that some key BJP leaders in the state are colluding with whoever may be Chief Minister and sacrificing interests of the party. In fact he was suspended from the party two years ago after a hate case was registered against him by the BRS government and key leaders in the party tried to deny him an Assembly seat.

But finding the fact that he can only win in Goshamahal constituency, the party high-command revoked the suspension order and fielded him in the polls. With this, the suspense continues over the decision to be taken by the party leadership in the matter of Raja Singh.

RGV Returns To Horror with A Twist

Noted filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma, who once made waves in Indian cinema with iconic crime and horror dramas, has announced a new film that marks his return to the genre—with a comedic twist. Titled Police Station Mein Bhoot, the project reunites Varma with acclaimed actor Manoj Bajpayee after a long gap.

The film, which Varma describes as a horror-comedy, is set to explore an unconventional premise. “People usually go to the police when they’re scared. But what happens when the police themselves are terrified—by a ghost?” Varma said, revealing the central idea of the story.

Known for classics like Satya, Kaun, and Shool, Varma and Bajpayee last worked together during the peak of RGV’s critically lauded phase. This upcoming collaboration has already sparked interest among cinephiles, particularly as it marks Varma’s first venture into the horror-comedy genre.

CM Chandrababu suggests To use AI To Detect Tax Evaders

Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has suggested that AI should be used to detect tax evaders. He said that a similar process should be implemented in all revenue departments and tax collection should be done in a strict manner.

He wanted to inform traders that tax payments and permissions are becoming easier through the use of technology. Chief Minister Chandrababu ordered all revenue departments to work to increase their own income and tax collection by undertaking welfare and development programs in the state.

He suggested that their own income should be increased significantly. He said that AI has identified that more than a thousand builders in the state have not actually registered through occupancy certificates issued by the municipal department.

However, Chandrababu advised the officials that the government should give any approvals only to those who have necessarily registered for GST. He clarified that it is not the policy of the coalition government to harass traders like the previous government.

He wanted to coordinate with them and ensure that all taxes due are paid as per the rules. He said that all the information of taxpayers, GST portal, AP State Data Center, APCTD, etc. should be linked with AI. Artificial intelligence should be used to issue notices and receive grievances regarding them.

He suggested that the speed of the government machinery can be increased further. Chandrababu said that all the departments should work to earn 100 percent of the state’s own revenue target of Rs. 1,37,412 crore set for this financial year.

“Compared to the financial year 2023-2024, AP recorded a 2.2 percent growth in its own revenue for 2024-2025. While the growth in the revenue received by the state government in the form of taxes increased by 4.1 percent, non-tax revenue did not come at the expected level”, he said.

“There was a 4.9 percent growth in GST, 15.2 percent growth in professional tax, and 24.3 percent growth in excise revenue. If we look at the revenue since the announcement of the new excise policy, the government’s revenue has improved compared to the past. From October 2024 to March 2025, Rs. 4,330 crore was received. This means an increase in excise revenue of about 33 percent”, he added.

Rajinikanth Reveals Emotional Fallout Over Jayalalithaa’s Decision To Sack Minister Veerappan

Veteran actor Rajinikanth has revealed that he once lost an entire night’s sleep over former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa’s decision to remove senior minister R.M. Veerappan from his position—a decision the actor believes was influenced by his own actions.

Rajinikanth made the remarks in a documentary released by Sathya Movies to mark the first death anniversary of R.M. Veerappan, the party leader, film producer, and founder of Sathya Movies. The documentary features tributes from prominent figures, including Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin and Rajinikanth himself.

Recalling the incident, Rajinikanth said Veerappan was among the few who had shown him unwavering support. During the 100-day celebration of Baashha, the actor said he had spoken against the rise of “bomb culture” in society—remarks made in the presence of Minister Veerappan, who was also the producer of the film.

“At the time, I didn’t realize it was inappropriate to speak that way in front of a Cabinet Minister,” Rajinikanth admitted. “Jayalalithaa, who was then Chief Minister, was reportedly upset that Veerappan didn’t stop me and subsequently removed him from his ministerial post. I couldn’t sleep that night, feeling responsible for what had happened.”

The actor said he called Veerappan the next morning to offer a personal apology. “He dismissed my concerns, saying ‘It’s nothing, don’t worry about it.’ When I told him I’d like to speak directly to Jayalalithaa, he politely declined, explaining that she never reversed her decisions and he didn’t want my image to suffer.”

Rajinikanth added that while there were multiple factors behind his eventual criticism of Jayalalithaa, this incident was one of the primary reasons.
