Jagan’s Nellore Tour Likely To create stand off with Police

As almost every tour of former chief minister and YSRCP chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy in districts has been creating law and order problem, days after death of over three persons during his Palnadu visit, his proposed tour to Nellore on July 3 is likely to create stand off with the police.

Every time the police are turning impatient as Jagan himself intentionally violates all precautionary conditions imposed by the police by encouraging unruly mobs during his visits. Even after bitter experiences, he seems to be reluctant to back down. In this context, Jagan’s proposed Nellore visit to meet former minister Kakani Govardhan Reddy who is in jail.

Though the police are imposing strict restrictions on his movements, they are worried as he has been showing his determination to violate such restrictions, inviting trouble. In particular, the police have set a condition that only 100 people will be allowed to accompany Jagan in Nellore.

The police are making it clear that they will give permission only if he agrees to this. With this, there is suspense as to whether Jaganmohan Reddy will get permission in some way like in the past and then make a show of strength, and how the police will prevent him from doing so.

Former YSRCP minister Anil Kumar Yadav revealed that the police were informed 10 days in advance about Jagan’s Nellore tour. He said that security was required within two and a half kilometers of the area where Jagan would be travelling during his tour. However, he revealed that the police have not given permission for Jagan’s Nellore tour so far.

He deplored that there is no clarity on whether permission will be given or not. He alleged that these efforts are being made to stop Jagan’s tour. Anil questioned the police about why they are so afraid of Jagan’s tour? He alleged that they have chosen an area where there is no traffic problem, the officials have shown them an area, but they have been delaying it for three days.

The former minister said that no matter how many obstacles you create, Jagan will come on the 3rd. He said that they know which routes to come. He said that no matter how much trouble they  have to face, Jagan’s tour in Nellore is going to be a success. He said that there is no problem in finding places and that arrangements are being made to ensure convenience.

YSRCP leaders are already looking for suitable places for a helipad to land the helicopter during Jagan’s Nellore tour. However, they alleged that the local TDP MLA Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy is pressuring the locals not to give their land to Jagan’s helipad. The YSRCP leaders are accusing them of pressuring the locals not to give their land to the helipad. It seems that the helipad site has not been finalized yet.

Central Experts Rejects Bankacharla Link project proposal

The Central Forest and Environment Ministry’s expert committee has ruled that permission cannot be given to the Godavari-Banakacharla Link Project, which was undertaken by the Chandrababu Naidu government with great prestige. Stating that 3,000 TMCs of water flow into the sea from Godavari every year, the AP government has initiated this project to divert 200 TMCs from Polavaram to Banakacharla.

AP CM Chandrababu Naidu has requested the Center to provide financial assistance for this project, which will be undertaken at a cost of Rs. 81,000 crores. Proposals have been submitted to the Union Ministry of Forest and Environment for the ‘TOR (Terms of Reference)’ for the first phase of environmental clearances.

However, it is known that Telangana CM Revanth Reddy and Irrigation Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy recently met Union Jal Shakti Minister C.R. Patil and expressed objections. The Expert Appraisal Committee (EAC) of the River Valley Hydroelectric Project met in Delhi on June 17. It discussed the AP proposals.

It refused to issue a ToR. The EAC members raised several questions on the PB Link project. The project will provide drinking water to about 80 lakh people, irrigate 3 lakh hectares of new land, stabilize 9.14 lakh hectares of land, and develop 20 TMC and 400 MW of hydroelectric power generation capacity for industrial needs.

The EAC noted that the states of Odisha, Chhattisgarh and others have raised objections on the issues related to flooding in the Polavaram multipurpose project, and that the matter is within the jurisdiction of the court. The EAC also considered the objections received through various channels, including emails, on the AP government’s proposals on the project.

The proposed scheme aims to divert flood water from the Polavaram Dam in the Godavari basin to the water deficit basins of the AP state, and in this context, the EAC was of the opinion that a comprehensive study on the availability of flood water in the Godavari should be conducted in consultation with the Central Water Commission (CWC).

It said that complaints have been received that this project violates the Godavari Water Disputes Tribunal Award 1980. Therefore, the EAC suggested that the CWC should be consulted first, the inter-state issues should be resolved and the necessary permissions should be obtained. Only then should the proposals be sent for the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA).

With the BJP selecting former MLC Ramachandra Rao instead of MP Etala Rajender as state party chief,  the BJP national leadership has reportedly indicated it is preparing to move closer towards BRS, against the Congress. 

The recent MLC elections, in which BRS indirectly facilitated the BJP’s victory by not contesting even in districts where it has strength, and KCR’s confining his criticism of the Congress by not mentioning the BJP much at the Warangal public meeting, have led to such speculations.

Moreover, KCR’s own daughter and MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha had created a stir by declaring that attempts were made to reconcile with the BJP while she was in jail, and that she opposed it. 

MLA Raja Singh, who announced his resignation from the party in protest against the fact that he was stopped from filing his nomination for the post of state president, has made serious allegations that prominent leaders in the party do not want the BJP to come to power in Telangana.

Sensational comments were made by TPCC Media Chairman Sama Rammohan Reddy saying that the first step towards an alliance between BJP and BRS has been taken in the state. Stating that the BJP will support BRS in the state and BRS will support BJP at the center, he said that Ramachandra Rao was appointed as the BJP state president as part of that.

He predicted that these two parties will contest together in the next elections. He made it clear that BJP is equal to the BRS party. The BJP, which gave the slogan of BC Chief Minister in the last assembly elections, has so far given the posts of state president, party leader in the assembly, and party leader in the legislative council to Reddy social groups.

Moreover, Kishan Reddy is a cabinet minister. Although the top leadership of the party wanted BC to be appointed as the BJP state president, it is believed that bringing Ramachandra Rao into the fray at the last moment is an extension of friendship to BRS. 

Along with Etala Rajender, who has emerged as a strong contender  for the post of state president, another MP Raghunandan Rao was also from BRS. They had a serious disagreement with KCR and joined the BJP. Similarly, Nizamabad MP D Aravind, who was also considered as a contender to head the state BJP, was also against BRS.

It is being believed that Kishan Reddy, Dr. Lakshman and Bandi Sanjay Kumar brought Ramachandra Rao into the fray, fearing that even if any of them were made the state president, it would not be possible to have an alliance with BRS.

It seems that the BJP top leadership has become serious over the behavior of its three-time MLA Raja Singh, who announced his resignation from the party on Monday, alleging that he was prevented from submitting his nomination for the post of state party president. As already several times his anti-party activities created a mess in the party, the party sources indicated that they are not considering accepting his resignation.

BJP national leaders Sunil Bansal and Abhay Patil stepped in and tried to convince Raja Singh from resigning. However, they have become serious about his explanation and comments. In this context, it is known that the state leadership has sent Raja Singh’s resignation letter to the national leadership.

Meanwhile, BJP State spokesperson Smt. Rani Rudrama has strongly refuted Raja Singh’s accusation that he was prevented from filing his nomination papers. She lashed out at Raja Singh, saying that his indiscipline has reached its peak. Moreover, she explained that if an MLA wants to resign from the post, he should submit a letter to the Assembly Speaker.

She clarified that the party is more important than individuals for BJP. Rani Rudrama explained that the resignation letter given to the party president is being sent to the national president. She said that Raja Singh came to the BJP state office to file his nomination for the state party presidential elections and collected the nomination paper from Union Minister and Returning Officer for Telangana organizational Elections Shobha Karandlaje.

On this occasion, she said that Raja Singh also spoke to BJP state in-charge Abhay Patil. Abhay Patil clearly told him that this is a democratically run party and anyone can file a nomination. However, according to the party rules, the signatures of 10 state council members are mandatory for the nomination form to be valid. The returning officers told Raja Singh about this.

Rani Rudrama said that they advised him to file the nomination with those signatures But, she deplored that Raja Singh came out and since he did not have 10 members to sign for him, lied to defame the party. She lamented that he tried to malign the party by saying that the party did not give him the opportunity to file his nomination. 

After that, Raja Singh submitted his resignation to BJP state president Kishan Reddy and the resignation letter will be sent to the national party, she added.

తన బలప్రదర్శన చేయడానికి, అహంకారాన్ని పదర్శించుకోవడానికి.. వేలమంది ప్రజల్ని కిరాయికి తరలించి.. వైఎస్ జగన్మోహన్ రెడ్డి నిర్వహించిన రెంటపాళ్ల పరామర్శ యాత్ర.. ఒక ప్రాణాన్ని దారుణంగా బలితీసుకున్న సంగతి అందరికీ తెలుసు. స్వయంగా తన కారుకింద తన పార్టీకే చెందిన వృద్ధుడు పడిపోతే.. తొక్కించుకుంటూ వెళ్లిపోయిన జగన్ దుర్మార్గం ఆ వీడియోలు చూసిన ప్రజల కళ్ల ఎదుట కదలాడుతూనే ఉంది. ఆ వీడియోలు బయటకు వచ్చిన క్షణం నుంచి.. అటు సాక్షి మీడియా దళాలు, జగన్ వందిమాగధులు, వైసీపీ నీలిదళాలు అందరూ రెచ్చిపోయి మాట్లాడారు. జగన్ ను ఇరికించడానికి మార్ఫింగ్ వీడియోలు విడుదల చేసారంటూ.. అబద్ధాలను ప్రచారం చేశారు. బొంకువీరులందరూ ఒక్కసారిగా బయటకు వచ్చి.. నానా కూతలు కూశారు. తీరా ఇప్పుడు అసలైన ఫోరెన్సిక్ నివేదిక వచ్చేసింది. జగన్ కారు కింద పడడం వల్ల మాత్రమే.. దళితుడైన చీలి సింగయ్య మరణించినట్టుగా ఆ నివేదిక నిర్ధారిస్తోంది.

జూన్ 18న రెంటపాళ్ల యాత్రలో వైఎస్ జగన్, సింగయ్య ను బలితీసుకున్నారు. జగన్ కారు కింద ఆయన పడితే.. కారు ముందు చక్రంతో తొక్కించుకుంటూ కొంతదూరం లాక్కుని వెళ్లారు. ఆ తర్వాత అతడిని లాగి రోడ్డు పక్కన పడేసి వెళ్లిపోయారు. తర్వాత వృద్ధుడిని అంబులెన్సులో ఆస్పత్రికి తరలించగా అప్పటికే మరణించినట్టు తెలిసింది.

అయితే, జగన్ కారు కింద పడినట్టుగా వీడియోలు విడుదలైనా కూడా.. జగన్ దళాలు, సాక్షిమీడియా రెచ్చిపోయి బొంకులను ప్రచారంలో పెట్టాయి. అవి మార్పింగ్ వీడియోలు అన్నాయి. పోలీసులు సంయమనం కోల్పోకుండా పక్కా ఆధారాలు సేకరించారు. డ్రోన్ సీసీ కెమెరాల ఫుటేజీలు అన్నింటినీ అనుసంధానం చేసుకుంటూ.. వాటిని సమన్వయం చేసుకుని ప్రమాదం జరిగిన సమయంలో.. ఆ కారు చుట్టూ ఉండి వీడియోలు తీస్తున్న కార్యకర్తలను గుర్తించారు. వారి ఫోన్లను స్వాధీనం చేసుకుని అందులోని వీడియోలను ఫోరెన్సిక్ పరిశీలనకోసం పంపారు. ఆరు ఫోన్లలో తీసిన వీడియోలను పరిశీలించగా.. అన్నీ ఒరిజినల్ అని తేలింది. ఇప్పుడు జగన్ ఈ నరబలి కేసులో పక్కగా ఇరుక్కున్నారు.

సింగయ్య మరణానికి సంబంధించి పోలీసులు నమోదు చేసిన కేసులో కారు డ్రైవర్ ఏ1 కాగా, వైఎస్ జగన్ ఏ2గా ఉన్నారు. కొందరు వైసీపీ నాయకులు కూడా నిందితులుగా ఉన్నారు. వారందరూ కూడా ఈ కేసును కొట్టేయాల్సిందిగా కోర్టులో పిటిషన్లు వేసుకున్నారు. కాగా.. వీడియోలు అబద్ధం అంటూ బొంకిన వారందరూ ఇప్పుడు బయటకు రావాలని.. ఫోరెన్సిక్ నివేదిక నేపథ్యంలో ఏం చెప్తారో చూడాలని ఉన్నదని ప్రజలు అనుకుంటున్నారు.

చెప్పుకోడానికి ఏదో కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీ అధ్యక్ష పదవి తనకి ఉన్నది కదాని.. వైఎస్ షర్మిల విపరీతంగా కష్టపడిపోతున్నారు. ఆ పార్టీని బలోపేతం చేయగలననే నమ్మకం ఆమెకు ఉన్నదో లేదో గానీ.. అందుకు చాలా చాలా కష్టపడుతున్నారు. ఊరూరా తిరిగి మీటింగులు పెడుతున్న షర్మిల.. తాజాగా ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ రాష్ట్రంలో తమ పార్టీకి కోట్ల సంఖ్యలో ప్రజాబలం ఉన్నది గానీ.. క్షేత్రస్థాయిలో నాయకత్వ లేమి ఉన్నదని.. పార్టీ సిద్ధాంతాల మీద నమ్మకం ఉన్నవారు వచ్చి తమ పార్టీలో చేరితే.. భవిష్యత్తులో వారిని ఎమ్మెల్యేలు చేస్తామని అంటున్నారు. చివరి నిమిషంలో వచ్చి టికెట్లు అడిగితే ఉపయోగం లేదని, ఇప్పటినుంచి పార్టీలోకి వచ్చి కష్టపడాలని అంటున్నారు.
నిజానికి షర్మిల మాటలు చాలా చిత్రంగా ఉన్నాయి. అమాయకంగా కూడా కనిపిస్తున్నాయి. సుదీర్ఘ రాజకీయ అనుభవం ఉన్న కుటుంబం నుంచి వచ్చిన ఆమె మరీ ఇంత అమాయకంగా ఎలా మాట్లాడగలుగుతున్నారా? అనేది చర్చనీయాంశంగానే ఉంది. ఎందుకంటే.. కాంగ్రెసు పార్టీ ఈ రాష్ట్రంలో మళ్లీ బతికి బట్టకట్టే పరిస్థితి ఇవాళ్టి వాతావరణంలో లేదన్నది స్పష్టం. భవిష్యత్తులో ఎమ్మెల్యేలు కావాలనుకుంటున్నవారు వచ్చి తమ పార్టీలో చేరాలని ఆమె పిలుపు ఇచ్చినంత మాత్రాన ఎవరు వస్తారు? కొత్తగా నాయకులు ఎదగాలని అనుకుంటున్న వారు అసలు కాంగ్రెస్ వైపు దృష్టి సారించే అవకాశం ఉన్నదా? అనేది ప్రజల సందేహం. దానికి బదులుగా.. షర్మిల ఘర్ వాపసీపై దృష్టి పెడితే కొంత ప్రయోజనం ఉంటుందేమోనని పలువురు భావిస్తున్నారు.

జగన్ వైఎస్సార్ కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీ స్థాపించిన తర్వాత.. అందులోకి వలసవెళ్లిన నాయకులు 90 శాతానికి పైగా కాంగ్రెస్ వారే. అంటే కాంగ్రెస్ నాయకుల బలం మొత్తం ఇప్పుడు వైసీపీలో ఉన్నది. ఇప్పుడున్న పరిస్థితుల్లో రాష్ట్రంలో వైసీపీ చెప్పుకోడానికి 11 సీట్లు గెలిచింది తప్ప.. భవిష్యత్తు కోణంలో చూసినప్పుడు కాంగ్రెస్ కు, వైఎస్సార్ కాంగ్రెస్ కు పెద్ద తేడా ఏం లేదు. జగన్ పార్టీని నడుపుతున్న తీరుతో ఆ పార్టీలో మిగిలిఉన్నవారు కూడా విసిగిపోయి ఉన్నారు. ఈవాతావరణాన్ని సద్వినియోగం చేసుకుంటూ.. షర్మిల వైసీపీలోని మాజీ కాంగ్రెస్ నాయకులకు ఆఫర్లు ప్రకటిస్తే ఎక్కువ ఉపయోగం ఉంటుందని పలువురు భావిస్తున్నారు. అక్కడ గతిలేక కొనసాగుతున్న నాయకులు అనేకమంది ఉన్నారు. వారిని కాంగ్రెస్ ఆకర్షించగలిగితే.. ఆ పార్టీ బలపడుతుంది. పైగా వైసీపీ అదికారంలో ఉన్న రోజుల్లో అంతో ఇంతో వందల కోట్లు దోచుకున్నవారే అందరూ  కాబట్టి.. కాంగ్రెసులోకి వచ్చినా సరే.. డబ్బు ఖర్చు పెట్టి పార్టీ ఆదరణ పెంచడానికి పనిచేస్తారు. అలా కాకుండా.. కొత్త నాయకత్వం వచ్చి తమ పార్టీలో చేరాలని షర్మిల కోరినంత మాత్రాన ఫలితం ఉండదనే వ్యాఖ్యలు ప్రజల్లో వినిపిస్తున్నాయి.

అయినా రాష్ట్రమంతా పార్టీని ఉద్ధరిస్తానని తిరుగుతున్న షర్మిల.. తన సొంత జిల్లా, సొంతనియోజకవర్గంలో మళ్లీ పోటీచేస్తే గతంలో కంటె ఎక్కవ ఓట్లు సంపాదించుకునే స్థాయిలో పనిచేస్తున్నారా.. అక్కడైనా పార్టీని బలోపేతం చేశారా అనేది చెక్ చేసుకోవాలని పలువురు హితవు చెబుతున్నారు.
