Ravi Teja’s Mass Jathara Delayed: The Latest Update on Its Release

Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja is gearing up to entertain his fans with his much-awaited film Mass Jathara, directed by Bhanu Bogavarapu and produced by Nagavamsi. With Sreeleela playing the lead opposite Ravi Teja. However, there is growing speculation that the release, initially set for August 27, may be delayed.

With only days to go before the scheduled launch, the crew is still engaged in the post-production process, and promotions have not even started. With so little time available to finish everything, it appears to become very challenging for the makers to stick to the deadline, leading to discussions about pushing the release date.

The teaser of Mass Jathara indeed reflects Ravi Teja’s hallmark high energy, but his take on a cop dishing out mass dialogues and fighting baddies has become repetitive. Such dialogues, which were once one of the biggest strengths, no longer carry the same punch, and that has led to a drop in the buzz around the film.

To add to the worry, the promotion campaign for the movie is yet to be launched, adding to the gloom. Under such circumstances, postponing the release appears to be the most logical choice for the makers at this juncture.

In addition to this, producer Nagavamsi, who recently experienced disappointment with Kingdom, is also on the receiving end in terms of releasing War 2. His expectation that the movie would fare better in Telugu than in Hindi has not been fulfilled, and this has increased his stress levels.

If Mass Jathara is actually postponed, it will have tough competition in September as many films will be hitting the theatres then. Hence, the producers are now thinking of shifting the release of the movie to October or even November.

Andhra Pradesh Minister Nara Lokesh Pushes For Stronger Respect For Women In Films

Andhra Pradesh IT Minister Nara Lokesh’s recent appeal to censor disrespectful and inappropriate content towards women in films and web series has opened up a much-needed debate. Directed at Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, Lokesh’s appeal points to the increasing necessity of encouraging more respect towards women in society. With a past of films and media regularly portraying women in degrading and harmful manners, his words have important merit. This article is an exploration of Lokesh’s perspective, why he is so appealing, and what implications it might have on society.

Lokesh underscored two important steps to safeguard women’s dignity in media. The first is a total prohibition on objectionable content. He suggested that movies and web series with derogatory language, crude dialogues, or insulting picturization of women be banned straight away. In this way, the media culture would become more healthful and respectful and women’s dignity would be safeguarded.

The second step Lokesh proposed was more stringent regulation of theatrical releases. He believed that movies that have offensive or offending content against women should not be permitted to release in cinemas unless offensive scenes are cut from them. This would encourage filmmakers to become more responsible and not allow content offending women to be made available at large scales.

Lokesh’s petition is not a viewpoint but a call based on deep social and legal grounds. Films and web series have a significant impact on society, especially on young minds. Such content that degrades women or objectifies them can have long-term consequences, with a tendency to form bad notions and create disrespect towards women. The Andhra Pradesh government has already acted firmly against social media platform users posting objectionable content regarding women, reflecting its concern for women’s safety. Hence, control of content in films and web series should also be considered an equally significant step.

The response of the government will play a crucial role in determining the destiny of this appeal. What Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan do about this issue will go a long way in determining the future actions. If heeded, these recommendations have the potential to bring a cultural change in the direction that women are portrayed in the media, to head towards more mature depiction by filmmakers and content producers. By encouraging respect for women in the movie industry, this movement could fuel wider positive transformations in society.

Lokesh’s plea covers more than mere regulation of media content. It heralds an even greater discussion regarding women’s empowerment, their place in society, and respect for all categories of media. Irrespective of what decision the government makes, this debate is sure to create awareness and induce significant change, making it a critical issue for society at large.

ACB Approved A Grant of Rs 4,100 crore For Revanth Reddy’s prestigious Musi cleaning program

In a big boost to Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s ambitious Musi cleaning program, the Asian Development Bank (ADB) has approved a grant of about Rs. 4100 crore, which will be provided in phases. A few days ago, the ADB team visited Hyderabad and inquired about the details of the Musi cleaning.

During this, the officials of the Musi Riverfront Development Corporation Limited (MRDCL), appointed for the Musi cleaning, also explained to the ADB team about the environmental programs to be undertaken along with the Musi cleaning. With this, the ADB approved the release of funds for the Musi cleaning.

As part of the Musi cleanup, roads and other facilities are going to be built on both sides of the river. Also, an interceptor channel network is going to be built in the Musi River to separate flood water and drainage water. Already, the as part of this program, the government has removed the structures in the river.

Presently, the program to remove the garbage accumulated in the Musi river is being continued.  Through these channels, the sewage will be taken to the STPs built along the river. Already, MRDCL officials have prepared a report worth Rs. 5,863 crore. It has been sent to the Department of Economic Affairs (DEA). The DEA screening committee approved it 2 months ago.

Once, the Musi river provided drinking water to the people of Hyderabad. But now it has become a center for garbage and drainage water. Sewage flowing from many areas is directly joining the Musi river. The Han River in South Korea was taken as inspiration for this project.

A few months ago, the officials went to Seoul and inspected the Han River. They decided to clean up Musi as well. As part of this project, the encroachments in Musi are being removed first. This project is estimated to cost around Rs. 1 lakh crore. Some of the work will be done with government money and some will be done through Public Private Partnership (PPP) method.

As part of the Musi cleaning, a plan has been drawn up to develop Musi for 55 kilometers from the Outer Ring Road in the east, from Gourelli to Narsingi. The government plans to not only clean up the Musi River but also provide many facilities around it.

Bandi Sanjay Furious over `Marwadi Go Back’ slogans As Drama of Congress, BRS, MIM

Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar was furious that the leaders of the Congress, BRS and MIM parties are creating drama under the guise of communists in the name of `Marwadi Go Back’. He asked whether it is wrong for Marwaris to do business?

“Marwaris have never fought for power. They have not looted Telangana. They have created wealth by doing business. Their role in increasing the GDP is very important,” he said.  He wondered that “They are Hindu people working for Sanatan Dharma. Why should such Marwaris leave Telangana?”

Sanjay expressed anger that conspiracies have started to divide the Hindu community in the name of `Marwadi Go Back’. He was furious that a group of them is running mutton shops and dry cleaning shops to harm Hindu caste customs.

Sanjay warned that if the Congress and BRS parties launch `Marwadi Go Back’ movements, they will launch a large-scale movement to protect Hindu caste rituals against mutton shops and dry cleaning shops run by a group. He also made it clear that the Rohingya Go Back movement will be intensified.

Participating in the `Har Ghar Tiranga Rally’ organized by BJP Central District Unit President Lankala Deepak Reddy in Yousufguda, Hyderabad, along with BJP State President N. Ramachandra Rao, he asked who should slaughter mutton?

“Hindu cutthroats should slaughter mutton. Hindu tailors sew clothes. But what is happening here? Why are they not responding when Nayeem is setting up a mutton shop and Salim is setting up a dry cleaning shop?”, he asked. He warned that a conspiracy is being hatched to divide the Hindu community.

Meanwhile, Sanjay wondered what does the BJP have to do with votes, stating that it is the job of the Election Commission to remove and add votes? Saying that the Election Commission is a constitutional body, he asked if vote theft is really in our hands, why do we get only 240 MP seats? Wouldn’t we have won all the seats? Wouldn’t the BJP come to power in Telangana and Karnataka?

“I ask, did the Congress, which steals votes, win in Telangana? Did it win in Karnataka, which steals votes? Did the Indi alliance, which steals votes, win 230 MP seats? If you win, it is democracy. If you lose, is it vote theft? If they do it, it is samsara… if we do it, is it adultery? Is this the method?” he quipped.
