Amaravati: Senior Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leader and former Union Minister Pusapati Ashok Gajapathi Raju has been appointed as the Governor of Goa. President Droupadi Murmu issued the official notification.

Reacting to the appointment, Ashok Gajapathi Raju addressed the media in Vizianagaram and expressed his gratitude to the President and Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the honour. “I never chased positions in my political life. I have always fulfilled the responsibilities entrusted to me with sincerity and dedication. Being appointed as the Governor of Goa is a matter of great honour,” he stated.

Raju, who hails from the Vizianagaram royal family, said he had always prioritized public service throughout his political journey. “Since entering politics, my goal has been to work for the people. I will continue with the same commitment in my new role as Governor of Goa,” he affirmed.

Recalling his tenure as Union Minister for Civil Aviation, Raju highlighted the key reforms he brought to the aviation sector. He pledged to utilise his administrative experience and expertise for the benefit of the people of Goa and said he would work in coordination with both the state and central governments to promote development.

Political leaders from Andhra Pradesh welcomed his appointment, describing it as a moment of pride for the state and expressed confidence that Goa would witness further progress under his leadership.

TDP’s Ashok Gajapathi Raju Named As New Goa Governor

Veteran TDP leader and former union minister P Ashok Gajapathi Raju has been appointed as the Governor of Goa, succeeding PS Sreedharan Pillai. He is among three Governors for two states and a Union Territory, appointed by President Droupadi Murmu on Monday. The Governors has been for Haryana, Goa, and Ladakh.

The appointments will take effect from the dates they will assume charge of their respective offices, it said.President Murmu has also accepted the resignation of Brig (Dr) BD Mishra (Retd) as Lieutenant Governor of the Union Territory of Ladakh and appointed Kavinder Gupta, a senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, in his place.

Gupta is known for his administrative experience in the erstwhile Jammu and Kashmir state. He is the first Jammu-born leader to hold the top post in the Union Territory.

Prof. Ashim Kumar Ghosh, a respected academic and political thinker, has been appointed as the Governor of Haryana in the place of senior BJP leader Bandaru Dattatreya. His appointment brings a scholarly perspective to the state’s constitutional leadership.

This is the first time a TDP leader has been appointed as a Governor. As TDP is a crucial partner of the NDA-led government at the Center, the BJP leadership considered giving a Governor post to it.

The BJP has decided to give the post of governor as per the previous promise made to the TDP, which cooperated in the allocation of Rajya Sabha seats as desired by the BJP in AP.

While two senior leaders of TDP were considered for this post, TDP chief and Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has reportedly preferred Ashok Gajapathi Raju. The other leader considered was Yanamala Ramakrishnudu.

Along with Bihar, elections are due soon in three other states. With this, the BJP is taking strategic decisions regarding all appointments in the party, starting with the national president. Only on Sunday, it nominated four prominent persons to the Rajya Sabha from the President’s quota.

The BJP had promised the post of governor to the TDP during the period 2014-19. However, due to political developments that took place after that, the TDP came out of the NDA. As a result, the decision could not be implemented.  The BJP leadership has decided to fulfill the promise that was given in the past and not fulfilled.

The TDP has received an offer of the governor’s post from the center asking Chandrababu Naidu to suggest a name from the TDP.  Both Ashok Gajapathi Raju and Yanamala have played a key role in the TDP since the beginning. They have been Chandrababu’s companions.

Both have served as assembly speakers and finance ministers. Ashok Gajapathi Raju has also served as a TDP minister at the center. Presently, both of them are not holding any official position. But, their daughters were elected to the Assembly in last year’s elections.

Recently, Yanamala retired as a member of the legislative council. He has made it clear that if he is given a chance for the Rajya Sabha, he will go for it, otherwise, he will retire from politics. Moreover, along with Yanamala’s daughter, his Viyyankadu is also an MLA. His son-in-law is an MP.

In the last ten years, Ch. Vidyasagar Rao, Bandaru Dattatreya, Kambhampati Haribabu and Indrasena Reddy have got the posts of Governor from Telugu states.

AP Refuses Center’s objections over Banakacharla, states No connection with Polavaram project

Strongly refuting Centre’s objections over Bankacharla project, the AP water resources department is ready to explain that the Polavaram- Banakacharla interlinking project does not include the issue of taking Godavari waters and merging them with the Krishna river.

Sending back the Banakacharla proposal made by the state government, the Jal Shakti department has prepared a comprehensive report with ‘WAPCOS’ on the objections raised by other organizations. WAPCOS submitted this report to the water resources department a few days ago.

Comprehensively examining this report and the questions raised by central organizations, a comprehensive report is being prepared to answer each question. It has decided to submit the report to the center on Monday or Tuesday.

Moreover, AP wants to make it clear that there is no connection between the Polavaram project and the Polavaram-Banakacharla linkage scheme. This explanation has been prepared in view of the Polavaram Project Authority (PPA) saying that Banakacharla will be allowed only after Polavaram is completed.

Based on 15 years of data taken downstream of Polavaram during the monsoon and when Godavari floods, AP will inform along with statistics that 2,842 TMC is flood water. Under 75 percent net water, 932 TMCs will be available in Kaleshwaram G-0, 737 TMCs in Indravati G-11, 231 TMCs in Lower Godavari G-10, 383 TMCs in G-12 up to Sabari and a total of 2,194 TMCs of water will be available.

If Godavari waters merge with Krishna river, subject to the verdict of Godavari Dispute Tribunal, Karnataka and Maharashtra will have to give a joint AP share in Krishna waters, the Central Forest and Environment Department, along with the Polavaram Authority and the Godavari River Management Company, have stated.

However, the AP has expressed strong objection to this. In the Banakacharla scheme, it will be clarified that instead of Godavari waters flowing into the Krishna river, an aqueduct will be constructed on the Sagar right canal and then it will be diverted to the Bollapalli reservoir and then to the Banakacharla regulator.

It has been decided to clarify that since Godavari waters are flowing to the Penna basin, there will be no opportunity for the confluence of Krishna-Godavari waters, and therefore there is no need to give a share of Krishna river waters to neighboring states.

Similarly, it will be stated that there is flood water in Godavari in excess of 75 percent of the net water consumption. Therefore, it is explained that it is planned to divert 200 TMC from Polavaram to Banakacharla for 100 days at the rate of 2 TMC per day.

At the time of submitting the DPR, 40 years of statistics regarding hydrology methodology will have to be submitted. Since only the pre-feasibility report has been submitted at present, 15-year calculations have been included in the report prepared by WAPCOS.

AP also clarified that the PPA will only be responsible for the supervision of the construction of Polavaram and that the PPA will not have any powers beyond that.

Legendary actress B. Saroja Devi, a towering presence in Indian cinema and recipient of the Padma Bhushan, passed away at the age of 87 on Monday morning at her residence in Bengaluru. With an illustrious career spanning over three decades, she left an indelible mark on Telugu, Kannada, and Tamil films, sharing screen space with stalwarts like NTR, ANR, and MGR in several iconic blockbusters.

Born in Karnataka in 1942, Saroja Devi made her cinematic debut at just 13 with the Kannada film Mahakavi Kalidasa (1955). Her early recognition in Telugu cinema came with Panduranga Mahatyam and Bhookailas, followed by a breakthrough role in Pelli Sandadi (1959). She went on to feature in several Telugu classics including Seetharama Kalyanam (1961), Jagadeka Veeruni Katha (1961), Sri Krishnarjuna Yuddham (1963), Dagudu Moothalu (1964), Atmabalam (1964), Shakuntala (1966), Dana Veera Sura Karna (1978), and Alludu Diddina Kapuram (1991).

From 1955 to 1984, she made history by playing lead roles in 161 consecutive films, a record that remains unmatched. Honoured with the Padma Shri in 1969 and the Padma Bhushan in 1992, B. Saroja Devi’s contributions to Indian cinema remain a golden chapter in its history.

After 10 years, CM Revanth Reddy Launching Ration cards Distribution In Telangana Today

The Telangana government will start distributing new ration cards in Telangana after ten years today. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy will formally distribute new ration cards to beneficiaries at Tirumalagiri, Tungaturthi constituency in Suryapet district. The authorities have made elaborate arrangements as the Chief Minister is visiting Tungaturthi constituency for the first time.

Civil Supplies Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy said that 5.61 lakh new ration cards are being distributed in the state. He said that his government is distributing ration cards on such a large scale in the state after 10 years. He said that the number of ration cards, including old and newly issued ration cards, has reached 95 lakh. He said that this will put an additional financial burden of Rs. 1,150.68 crore on the state government per year.

Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy criticized the BRS government and its leaders, who ruled the state for ten years, for not giving even a single ration card. He said that Indiramma houses will be granted to all those who are eligible in four installments.

Civil Supplies Commissioner D.S. Chauhan said that ration card beneficiaries can take fine rice from the moment they get the card. No one needs to worry if they do not get the card. He clarified that this is a continuous process. It is estimated that about 50,000 people will come to the public meeting. The police have arranged parking spaces at 11 places so that those who come to the meeting do not have any trouble.

As part of the distribution of new ration cards to the beneficiaries, a huge public meeting has been organized at the place next to the Tahsildar’s office. The Chief Minister will reach the premises in a special helicopter at 4 pm. 

The cards will be handed over to 11 beneficiaries. District ministers, MLAs, MLCs, and the government machinery have made elaborate arrangements to make the new ration card distribution program a success.

AP Restores pensions To Landless poor In capital Amaravati

The Andhra Pradesh government has issued orders to restore pensions to the landless poor in the capital Amaravati. It has issued orders granting pensions to 1,575 families in the villages of the capital. It is known that the YSRCP government had canceled these pensions. The restoration of pensions was approved in the recent cabinet meeting.

With this, the Municipal Administration Department’s Principal Secretary Suresh Kumar issued orders granting pensions to the poor families who lost their livelihood due to the construction of the capital Amaravati. Based on the survey conducted in 2015, 1,575 families were identified as eligible for pensions.

On the other hand, the government has sanctioned funds to complete the pending work of the quarters of public representatives and officials in Nelapadu. It has granted administrative permissions by sanctioning funds of Rs 524.70 crore. 432 apartment units are being constructed in 18 towers here. On the other hand, construction work of prestigious institutions is going on rapidly in Amaravati.

Steps have been taken in Amaravati for the construction of Quantum Valley, which is a national landmark. It is known that the government has already allocated 50 acres of land next to the Seed Access Road between Uddandarayunipalem and Lingayapalem for this project, which will be undertaken at a cost of Rs. 4,000 crore. Soil tests have already been conducted at this site. Jungle clearance work has also been completed.

The E3 road will come in the area where N-10 connects. Designs are being prepared for the iconic building in Quantum Valley. While the designs are already ready, CM Chandrababu suggested several changes in them. With this, final improvements are being made to the design. After it is finalized, tenders will be called and the contractor will be selected.

The government has set a target to complete the building by January next year. The construction work of the Permanent Secretariat and the High Court is going on rapidly. A team of experts who visited Amaravati last month inspected the iconic towers and the foundations of the permanent High Court. Work is progressing as per their instructions.

Rods less than 16MM in size are being cleaned and reused. One additional rod has been added to the 5 damaged rods and strengthened and work has resumed. It was found that the iron rods that were not concreted on one side of the permanent High Court construction site were badly damaged. These were removed as they were stuck in the soil. They are being replaced as per the instructions of the team of experts to replace them with new ones.

CM Chandrababu To visit Singapore From Jul 26 To 30 For AP Development

The coalition government led by Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is taking strategic steps for the development of Andhra Pradesh. As part of this, strong steps have been taken for the development of various districts and coastal areas, including the capital of AP, Amaravati. In that order, a team of CM Chandrababu, ministers and senior officials will visit Singapore from July 26 to 30.

The team includes ministers Nara Lokesh, P. Narayana, TG Bharath, senior officials Katanneni Bhaskar, N. Yuvaraj, Karthikeya Mishra, Kannababu, and Saikanth Verma from the AP Economic Development Board. The team will meet with political and business circles in Singapore.

The team led by Chandrababu will discuss issues such as city planning, city beautification, parks, ports, infrastructure, and adoption of future technology with leaders from various sectors in Singapore. The Secretary of the Department of Industries and Commerce, N. Yuvaraj, issued orders detailing the details of this visit.

With the bifurcation of combined Andhra Pradesh state, AP remained as a state without a capital. At the same time, after the TDP government came to power in the assembly elections in 2019.  29 villages like Tullur and Velagapudi in Guntur district were selected as the capital area. The capital was named Amaravati for this area.

The then CM Chandrababu Naidu also made agreements with the then Singapore government for the construction of this capital. However, with the coming of the YSRCP government led by YS Jaganmohan Reddy in 2019, the capital Amaravati project was put in cold storage. Though as opposition leader, Jaganmohan Reddy extended his support to develop Amaravati as capital city, after taking charge as Chief Minister, he went back.

In the name of three capitals, he kept Amaravati project into cold storage and canceled all the agreements made by the previous TDP government with the Singapore government. With Jagan’s announcement, the farmers who had given lands for the capital Amaravati staged agitations, protests, and dharnas.

After returning to power in 2024, Chandrababu Naidu has been saying that developing Amaravati as state capital will be his top most priority. Already he has revived Amaravati development works. At this juncture, his Singapore visit gained prominence.

వైఎస్ జగన్మోహన్ రెడ్డి.. ఇప్పుడు తరచుగా యాత్రలు ప్లాన్ చేసుకుంటున్నారు. రాష్ట్రంలో ఏ మూల చీమ చిటుక్కుమన్నా సరే.. అక్కడకు ఒక పరామర్శ యాత్ర పెడుతున్నారు. తన పార్టీ గణాలందరికీ పురమాయిస్తున్నారు. వేల సంఖ్యలో జనాన్ని తోలించాలని ఆదేశాలు ఇస్తున్నారు. డబ్బు సరఫరా చేస్తున్నారు. వచ్చిన జనాలతో ‘సీఎం సీఎం’ అంటూ నినాదాలు చేయిస్తున్నారు. ఆ నినాదాలు విని మురిసిపోతున్నారు. ఆయన యాత్రలు ఒక ప్రహసనంలాగా సాగుతున్నాయి. అయితే జగన్ గానీ, ఆయన పర్యటనలు ముగిసిన తర్వాత ఆయన వందిమాగధులు గానీ.. ఒకటే డైలాగు వేస్తుంటారు. ‘జగనన్నకు దక్కుతున్న ప్రజాదరణ చూసి ప్రభుత్వం వణుకుతున్నదట.. ఆయన పర్యటనలకు జనం వెల్లువలా వస్తుండడం చూసి.. దానికి గండికొట్టడానికి ప్రభుత్వం కుట్రలు చేస్తున్నదని.. రకారకాల వ్యాఖ్యలు చేస్తూ ఉంటారు.

జగన్ కు జనాదరణ అంతగా ఉన్నదనేది నమ్మడానికి జనం ఏమైనా వెర్రి వారు అనుకుంటున్నారా? అనేది విశ్లేషకుల మాట. రాజకీయ కార్యక్రమాలకు వేలం వెర్రిగా జనం వచ్చే రోజులు ఎన్నడో పోయాయి. జనాన్ని డబ్బులు ఇచ్చి తోలించడం రివాజు అయింది. డబ్బులు, బిర్యానీ పొట్లాలు, లిక్కర్ సీసాలు పంపిణీ కాకుండా, ఆహామీ లేకుండా జనం ఇంట్లోంచి అడుగు బయటపెట్టడం లేదు. జగన్ కు వస్తున్న జనం కూడా ఎలా వస్తున్నారో ప్రజలందరికీ తెలుసు.

అలాకాకుండా.. వైసీపీ నాయకులు చెబుతున్నట్టుగా జనం వస్తున్నారేమో ఆలోచిద్దాం. అసలు అధికారం లేని, అసెంబ్లీకి వెళ్లే అలవాటు కూడా లేని వ్యక్తి కోసం.. తన పార్టీ నిధులనుంచి అయినా నయాపైసా సాయం చేయని వ్యక్తికోసం కష్టాలు చెప్పుకోడానికి జనం ఎందుకు వస్తారు? ఏం లాజిక్ ఉంది? అధికారంలో లేని, మళ్లీ అధికారంలోకి వస్తాడో రాడో తెలియని నాయకుడి కోసం ఇవాళ జనం వెల్లువలా వస్తుండడం నిజం అనుకుంటే.. ఇదే జనం.. అదే నాయకుడు అధికారంలో ముఖ్యమంత్రిగా ఉన్నప్పుడు ఎక్కడకుపోయారు? ఆరోజున ఈజనం మీద ప్రేమతో జగన్ ర్యాలీలు నిర్వహించలేదు ఎందుకు? జగన్ ఒక ఊరికి వస్తున్నాడంటేనే ఆ ఊర్లో కర్ఫ్యూ వాతావరణాల్ని ఎందుకు విధించారు? రోడ్లకు ఇరువైపులా బారికేడ్లు కట్టించి, దుకాణాలు మూయించి, రోడ్లపై ఉన్న చెట్లను అడ్డంగా నరికించి దుర్మార్గాలకు పాల్పడ్డారు ఎందుకు? ఇప్పుడు ఎగబడుతున్న జనానికి జగన్ మీద ప్రేమ, ఆ జనానికి షేక్ హ్యాండ్ లు ఇచ్చి తోపులాటలు జరగాలని కోరుకునే జగన్ ప్రేమ ఆనాడు ఏమయ్యాయి? అనేది విశ్లేషకుల్లో కలుగుతున్న సందేహం.

జగన్ కు నిజంగా జనాదరణ ఉంటే గనుక.. ఆయన అధికారంలో ఉన్న రోజుల్లో కూడా ఇదే తరహాలో ప్రజల్లోకి వెళ్లి ఉండాలి. అలా చేయకుండా.. ఇప్పుడు మాత్రం ఆదరణ మాటెత్తుతున్నారంటే.. మొత్తం ఒక డ్రామాగా పరిగణించాల్సిందే తప్ప మరొకటి కాదు.

ఏపీ ముఖ్యమంత్రి చంద్రబాబు నాయుడు ఢిల్లీ పర్యటన అత్యంత బిజీ షెడ్యూల్ మధ్య జరగనుంది. ఈనెల 15, 16 తేదీలలో రెండు రోజుల పాటు ముఖ్యమంత్రి ఢిల్లీలో పర్యటించినున్నారు. కీలకమైన జాతీయ స్థాయి రెండు సదస్సులలో ఆయన ప్రధాన ప్రసంగం చేయనున్నారు. వాటితో పాటు రెండురోజుల్లో అనేకమంది  కేంద్ర మంత్రులతో చంద్రబాబు నాయుడు భేటీ కానున్నారు.. రాష్ట్రానికి సంబంధించిన అనేక ప్రాజెక్టులకు కేంద్రం వద్ద ఆమోదం పొందటమే లక్ష్యంగా ఢిల్లీ పర్యటన సాగనుంది. కేంద్రం ఎదుట పెట్టనున్న అన్ని ప్రతిపాదనల్లోకి బనకచర్ల ప్రాజెక్టు గురించి అనుమతులు సాధించడమే టాప్ ప్రయారిటీగా రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం భావిస్తున్నట్లుగా తెలుస్తోంది.

రెండురోజుల ఢిల్లీ పర్యటనలో 15వ తేదీ సాయంత్రం ప్రధానమంత్రి మ్యూజియం లైబ్రరీలో జరిగే పీవీ నరసింహారావు సంస్మరణ కార్యక్రమంలో చంద్రబాబునాయుడు పాల్గొని కీలక ప్రసంగం చేస్తారు. అదే విధంగా 16వ తేదీన సాయంత్రం భారత పరిశ్రమల సమాఖ్య (సీఐఐ) నిర్వహించే బిజినెస్ కాన్ఫరెన్స్ కు హాజరవుతారు. వీటితో పటు ఆయన అమిత్ షా, అశ్వినీ వైష్ణవ్, నీతిఆయోగ్ సభ్యుడు వికె సారస్వత్, ఢిల్లీ మెట్రో ఎండీ వికాస్ కుమార్ లతోను, 16న  మంత్రులు మన్సుఖ్ మానవీయ, సీఆర్ పాటిల్, నిర్మలా సీతారామన్ లతో భేటీ కానున్నారు. అమిత్ షా, సీఆర్ పాటిల్, నిర్మల లతో సమావేశాల్లో బనకచర్లకు అనుమతులు ఒక ప్రధాన ఎజెండాగా ఉన్ననున్నట్టు తెలుస్తోంది.

80 వేల ఎకరాలకు నీరందించే లక్ష్యంతో ప్రభుత్వం బనకచర్ల ప్రాజెక్టును సంకల్పించిన సంగతి తెలిసిందే. అయితే తెలంగాణ సంకుచిత వ్యాఖ్యలతో  కేంద్రం వద్ద అడ్డుపుల్ల వేసింది. కేవలం వ్యర్ధ జలాలను మాత్రమే ఈ ప్రాజెక్టు ద్వారా వినియోగించుకోబోతున్నట్లుగా కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వరంగ సంస్థ లాప్కోస్ కూడా సుదీర్ఘం అధ్యయనంతో పక్కా నివేదికను అందజేసింది. ఇదే విషయాన్ని ఏపీ సర్కారు కూడా చాలా కాలంగా చెబుతూనే ఉంది. గోదావరి నుంచి వృధాగా సముద్రంలో కలుస్తున్న జలాలనుంచి మాత్రమే అది కూడా అతి తక్కువ వాటాగా 200 టీఎంసీల నీటిని వినియోగించుకోవడానికి ఏపీ ప్రభుత్వం ఈ ప్రాజెక్టును ప్లాన్ చేసింది.

అయితే ఈ ప్రాజెక్టు వలన గోదావరి జలాలు కృష్ణలో కలుస్తాయని అప్పుడు ఎగువ రాష్ట్రాలకు కూడా నికరజలాలలో వాటా ఇవ్వవలసి వస్తుందని కొన్ని అభ్యంతరాలు తలెత్తాయి. ఈ నేపథ్యంలో బనకచర్ల వలన గోదావరి జలాలు – కృష్ణలో కలిసే అవకాశం లేదని.. అలాంటి  అపోహలకు తావు లేకుండా అనుమతులు ఇవ్వాలని బనకచర్ల నుంచి పెన్నా బేసిన్ కు అనుసంధానించడమే లక్ష్యంగా తమ ప్రయత్నం సాగుతున్నదని చంద్రబాబు నాయుడు కేంద్రానికి వివరించనున్నారు.

అమరావతి విస్తరణకు చాలావరకు సానుకూల సంకేతాలే కనిపిస్తున్నాయి. దీనికి సంబంధించి భూ సమీకరణకు ఆమోదం తెలియజేస్తూ కేబినెట్ తీర్మానం చేసిన తర్వాత.. వ్యవహారం ఊపందుకుంది. ఎమ్మెల్యేల సారథ్యంలో తొమ్మిది మండలాల పరిధిలో ముమ్మరంగా గ్రామసభలు పెడుతున్నారు. రైతుల అభిప్రాయాలు తెలుసుకుంటున్నారు. మెజారిటీ రైతులు భూములు ఇవ్వడానికి సుముఖత వ్యక్తం చేస్తున్నారు. అమరావతికి భూములిచ్చిన రైతులకు కల్పించే సదుపాయాలన్నీ, కొత్తగా భూములిచ్చేవారికి కూడా వర్తిస్తాయనడంతో చాలా మంది ముందుకు వస్తున్నారు.

అయితే కొందరు రైతులు మాత్రం కొన్ని భయాలు వ్యక్తం చేస్తున్నారు. ఈ నేపథ్యంలో ముఖ్యమంత్రి చంద్రబాబునాయుడు ఒక కీలక నిర్ణయం తీసుకున్నారు. కొత్తగా భూసమీకరణ చేపడుతున్న ప్రాంతాల్లో తొందరపాటు అవసరం లేదని, ఏ ఒక్క రైతుకు కూడా ఏమాత్రం అసంతృప్తి కలగకుండా ఉండే విధంగా, అందరి అనుమానాలను నివృత్తి చేసిన తర్వాత మాత్రమే ముందుకు వెళదాం అని, పూర్తిస్థాయిలో రైతులను ఒప్పించాకే ముందుకు వెళదాం అని చంద్రబాబు సూచించినట్టు సమాచారం.

నిజానికి రెండోవిడత భూసమీకరణకు రైతులు చాలా ఉత్సాహంగానే స్పందిస్తున్నారు. అందుకే అధికారులు, నాయకులు ముమ్మరంగా గ్రామసభలను నిర్వహించడం ప్రారంభించారు. నిజానికి ఒకవైపు రాజధాని నిర్మాణ పనులు ముమ్మరంగా జరుగుతూ ఉండగా.. సమాంతరంగా రెండో విడత కోసం భూసమీకరణ జరుగుతుండడం వలన ప్రభుత్వం మీద బాగా ఒత్తిడి కూడా పెరుగుతోంది. గ్రామ సభల్లో ఎక్కడైనా ఒకరిద్దరు రైతులు చిన్న అనుమానాలు వ్యక్తం చేసినా.. విపక్షం వైఎస్సార్ కాంగ్రెస్ నాయకులు నానా రాద్ధాంతం చేయడానికి ప్రయత్నిస్తున్నారు.

నిజానికి అలా తమ పార్టీ సానుభూతిపరులైన కొందరు రైతులకు పురెక్కించి గ్రామసభలకు పంపుతున్నారు. వారి అనుమానాలను గురించి భూతద్దంలో చూపిస్తూ.. నానా యాగీ చేస్తున్నారు. మొత్తం మిగిలిన అన్ని గ్రామాల రైతులను కూడా భయపెట్టడానికి ప్రయత్నిస్తున్నారు. ఒకవైపు నిర్మాణ పనులు చూసుకోవడం మరోవైపు ఇలాంటి కుట్రలను భరించడం అన్నీ ప్రభుత్వానికి తీవ్రమైన ఒత్తిడి కలిగిస్తున్నాయి. ఇలాంటి నేపథ్యంలో భూసమీకరణ ప్రక్రియను నిదానంగా ముందుకు తీసుకువెళ్లవచ్చునని.. చంద్రబాబు సూచించినట్టుగా తెలుస్తోంది.
రైతుల్లోని అనుమానాలను పూర్తిగా నివృత్తి చేసిన తర్వాత మాత్రమే అడుగు ముందుకు వేయాలని ప్రభుత్వం సంకల్పించడం మంచి పరిణామమే అని రైతులు సంతోషం వ్యక్తం చేస్తున్నారు. గ్రామసభలు హడావుడిగా కాకుండా.. మరింత నెమ్మదిగా నిర్వహించడానికి వీలవుతుందని అంతా అంటున్నారు.
