BJP Legislature Party leader Aleti Maheswara Reddy alleged that match fixing is going on between BRS and Congress and Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy is acting as a mediator for their deal. That is why, he said that the BRS is not demanding a CBI probe into corrupt practices of the Revanth Reddy government. In the return, he added that the Congress government is also not seeking a CBI probe into severe corrupt practices of the previous BRS government.
He challenged that if the state government writes a letter to the Center asking for a CBI probe into corrupt practices of the previous BRS government he will ensure positive orders within 24 hours from the Center. Referring to Kavitha’s jail experience of six months, he said that as BRS leaders have already tasted the danger of CBI entering into the scene, by colluding with the Congress avoiding any further CBI probe.
Maheshwar Reddy made it clear that the Congress high-command is committed to protect the interests of KCR family. He questioned whether is it not true that KTR and Harish Rao have met Congress general secretary KC Venugopal in Delhi? Is it not true that Ponguleti mediated and even chief minister Revanth Reddy was not interested in it, he was persuaded.
Referring to BRS leaders recent allegations of corruption against Revanth Reddy government, he wondered why they were silent all these time when BJP has been exposing several corruption practices of the government since the last nine months? He recalled that he himself raised many corruption issues against the state government.
Maheshwar Reddy alleged that Minister Ponguleti and former Minister KTR are challenging each other as part of political drama. He challenged them by saying that he will come wherever they want to prove his allegations of corruption. He also said that if he fails to prove his charges, he is ready to quit politics. He asked if KTR and Ponguleti, unable to refuse his corrupt allegations, are ready to quit politics?
He said that on behalf of the BJP, they are always raising public issues and bringing the corruption of the state government to the public’s attention. However, he said that KTR is talking as if he is making some new allegations, as if BJP has not done anything.
