Jammalamadugu BJP MLA and former minister C. Adinarayana Reddy said that he has requested Union Home Minister Amit Shah to intervene to speed up the investigation into the murder of former minister YS Vivekananda Reddy. He revealed that there has been no progress in the case even after six years and that he had recently requested the center to intervene to identify the real culprits.
Stating that Vijayasai Reddy had said that Viveka died of a heart attack on the day of the murder, he criticized Vijayasai Reddy’s recent statement that another person had told him that on the phone. He accused Avinash Reddy and Vijayasai Reddy of weaving lies beautifully. He recalled that they levelled many allegations against them in the Viveka murder case.
Adinarayana Reddy said that Vijayasai Reddy resigned from the Rajya Sabha as he could not stand the camel-strap trends of Jaganmohan Reddy and came out. He predicted that many more party leaders would leave before Jagan returns from his London tour. He said one has to realize the deplorable condition of the YSRCP after Vijayasai Reddy refused to stay back in the party even after Jagan insisted on him.
He commented that people confined Jagan to 11 seats only after knowing about his true colours. Lamenting that after killing uncle spread propaganda that was a heart attack, the former minister asked the people to get rid of leaders like Jagan.
He called on people to take steps towards Vikasith Bharat and Swarna Andhra and advised them to be careful not to let criminals enter politics. He said that the central government will help the state in many ways and reminded that the Center is supporting Amaravati, Polavaram, the railway zone, and the steel plant.
Adinarayana Reddy ridiculed Jagan’s criticism about the housing program of the present coalition government. He accused Jagan, who failed to build houses for the poor during his regime, and succeeded in constructing massive palaces for himself. He said that people are laughing after hearing Jagan’s words and hope even now, Vijayasai Reddy will give truths to people.
