Bishnoi Gang Demand Rs 5 crore To ‘End The Enmity’ with Salman Khan

Days after former Maharashtra minister and NCP leader Baba Siddique was shot dead in Mumbai, the city police have opened an investigation into a threat message it received addressed to Bollywood star Salman Khan.

Mumbai Traffic Police last night received a death threat, allegedly from a member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, demanding Rs 5 crore to ‘end the enmity’ between the gangsters and Bollywood actor  Salman Khan.

According to preliminary information received, a threat has been sent to the Traffic Division of Mumbai Police on WhatsApp by someone with the name Lawrence Bishnoi Gang for Salman Khan in which the person has demanded Rs 5 crore to hush up this entire matter.

According to Mumbai police, “A threatening message has been received on the WhatsApp number of Mumbai Traffic Police, demanding Rs 5 crore from actor Salman Khan to end his long-standing rivalry with Lawrence Bishnoi.”

The sender claimed, “Don’t take it lightly, if Salman Khan wants to stay alive and wants to end the enmity with Lawrence Bishnoi, then he will have to pay Rs 5 crore. If the money is not given, Salman Khan’s condition will be worse than Baba Siddique.”

This comes a day after the Mumbai police arrested a person for his involvement in the February shooting at Salman Khan’s house in Panvel. In June, it had arrested four people, allegedly linked to gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, after it was found that there was a conspiracy to attack the actor.

The Mumbai Police, which has not yet confirmed whether this threat has actually been given by any gang or whether this kind of work is done by an individual only to harass the police, has started the investigation.

Since the police have been receiving fake threat calls and messages for the past several days, the police have started investigating the matter following the entire protocol and the accused can be arrested as soon as possible.
