Bipasha Basu appears to have indirectly responded through a social media post aimed at empowering women. Sharing a quote, she stated, “Strong women always work for each other’s growth. All women should be strong and resilient. Only then can they be physically and mentally healthy. Step out of the outdated notion that girls shouldn’t appear strong.” She captioned the post, “Always love yourself,” which netizens interpreted as a subtle rebuttal to Mrunal.
The controversy stems from a video in which Mrunal reportedly claimed that she is more beautiful than Bipasha and implied that Bipasha appears masculine in comparison. The clip has since gone viral, drawing criticism from several Bollywood celebrities.
In addition, Mrunal addressed ongoing rumours linking her with actor Dhanush, clarifying that he is only a friend. She noted that Dhanush attended the Son of Sardaar 2 event solely at the invitation of Ajay Devgn and described the circulating speculations as amusing, putting an end to the conjecture.
