Union Minister of State for Home Affairs and BJP leader Bandi Sanjay has made it clear that there is no question of talks with the Maoists. Stating that Operation Kagar will not be halted, he asserted that Maoists must lay down their arms and surrender. He said that there will be no talks with those who kill innocent people with guns.
He made it clear that they will hold talks with banned organizations. He wondered that CM Revanth Reddy and former CM KCR are competing and supporting the Naxalites. If police and reporters are killed, Bandi Sanjay asks why CM Revanth Reddy and KCR did not speak out? He deplored that many leaders, police and innocent tribals have died in Naxal violence.
He recalled that it was the Congress party that imposed a ban on the Maoists. Many leaders including Congress, BJP and TDP were killed by planting landmines. Innocent tribals were unjustly shot dead on the pretext of informers, leaving many families with mental anguish, he added. Therefore, Sanjay made it clear that there will be no room for talks with them until they law down their guns.
The BJP leader said that the Pahalgam issue should be seen from the perspective of law and order, but not be seen from the perspective of Hindus and Muslims. He said that foreigners without passports are being identified and sent back. He made it clear that the responsibility of identifying and sending back Pakistani citizens lies with the state governments, and they should cooperate with the Center.
Bandi Sanjay demanded that the Congress should state its stand on the Rohingyas. He said that the central government’s decision on the caste census is historic. He lamented that it is absurd to call it a victory for the Congress. He revealed that the Congress caste census survey and Modi’s caste census have nothing to do with it. He alleged that the Congress caste census has caused great injustice to the BCs and has reduced the population of the BCs.
