Bandi Sanjay- Etela `cold war’ surfaced In Shamirpet, Exposes BJP Group Rivalries

The fight between the factions of Union Minister of State for Home Bandi Sanjay Kumar and Malkajgiri MP Etela Rajender has now come to light. The political class war that started in Huzurabad constituency has reached Shamirpet.

A large number of Etela followers from Huzurabad on Sunday reached his house in Shamirpet and deplored insults they are meeting in BJP, pointing their fingers towards Sanjay Kumar.

Speaking in Huzurabad constituency, two days ago Bandi Sanjay Kumar indirectly referring to Rajender, alleged that some people worked to get less votes for him in the last parliamentary elections, and he questioned whether such people should be given tickets in the local body elections? He made it clear that such people have no place in the party, and if anyone wants to create factionalism, it would be their stupidity.

He made it clear that we will support and support only those who have worked for the party and will provide funds. Indicating that Etela’s followers have no place in the party, he warned that some people are trying to encourage the factions by drawing a line and such things should not be tolerated from now on.

Sanjay Kumar’s comments created a big uproar among Etala’s supporters. His close associate Gautam Reddy resigned from the party. Etala Rajender’s supporters have been unhappy for some time. Particularly, they were unhappy after Rajender was pushed aside in state BJP chief selection. At this stage, Bandi Sanjay’s comments added fuel to the discontent of Rajender’s supporters.

Bandi Sanjay has reportedly been cultivating a grudge against Etela for a long time suspecting that he played a key role in removing him as state BJP chief a few years ago. As a result, he has tried his best to prevent him from becoming state party chief this time.

As a result, Etela’s supporters met him at his residence asking about their political future. They deplored that they have been with Etela for about 20 years, but they are not given priority in the BJP and deprived of any positions. Etela, assuring them that he would stand by them, called on leaders and activists to thwart the conspiracies being hatched against them. He said that many conspiracies have also been hatched on social media platforms.

He reminded that before he came to Huzurabad constituency, there was no BJP cadre, but after he came, BJP cadre came. He said that after he came, a majority of 50,000 came in the Karimnagar Parliament elections. He said that BJP got a lot of votes in the Huzurabad segment. He said that even though some leaders sold out in the 2021 by-elections, the people of Huzurabad made him win.
