Seasoned actor and three-time Hindupur MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna vowed to establish a cancer hospital in Andhra Pradesh. On the eve of 24th anniversary of Basavatarakam cancer hospital in Hyderabad, which is regarded as one of the best cancer hospitals providing medical services at an affordable prices for cancer patients, Balakrishna announced that he will soon set up a cancer hospital with the help of new government in AP.
Managing director Balakrishna and his family members were also present at the event.Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy attended the anniversary today in Hyderabad as chief guest. He commended the services of the hospital and said that it was established with the motto of service to the poor. He assured complete support to the hospital from Telangana government.
Balakrishna said Revanth Reddy is an inspiring leader and thanked him for the support. He recalled how his father NTR established the hospital with a good cause. He also said that the then government allotted land for building the hospital in Hyderabad and announced that the present government in Andhra Pradesh has already given land for establishing a cancer hospital there.
Balakrishna’s wife Vasundhara, his younger daughter Tejaswini and son in law and Vizag MP Bharat also attended the event.
