Balakrishna to Lead ‘Aditya 999’ with Son Mokshagna

Nandamuri Balakrishna is going to realize his long-standing wish to produce and act in the sequel of his cult sci-fi film, Aditya 369. Years after visualizing a sequel for the classic produced way back in 1991, it was finally decided that the project be taken into his own hands as he himself will be directing Aditya 999.

Despite the rumors that the sequel was to be titled Aditya 999 Max and would star his son Mokshagna, it is Mokshagna who is now being marked as making his debut under the director Prashanth Varma.  According to reports, though Mokshagna will feature as a part of Aditya 999, the father-son team makes an exciting combination on-screen.

Balakrishna, who was dissatisfied with the script for the sequel prepared by Singeetham Srinivasa Rao, has taken matters in his hand now. He is himself directing the project, though, to bring it in sync with his own vision.

This ambitious project will have a personal touch as Aditya 999 will be produced by Balakrishna’s daughter, Tejaswini. With the father-son duo on screen and Balakrishna directing it, Aditya 999 is sure to be one of the most eagerly awaited cinematic experiences for Nandamuri fans.
