Balakrishna Issues Strong Warning Against Fake Fundraising Event Using Basavatarakam Cancer Hospital’s Name

Actor and MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna, currently working on his upcoming film Akhanda 2, has issued a serious warning against an unauthorized fundraising campaign misusing his name and that of Basavatarakam Indo-American Cancer Hospital.

In a statement released via Facebook, Balakrishna clarified that a person named Ashwin Atluri has been promoting an event titled “Bangaru Balayya – Basavatarakam Event” to collect donations without official approval.

“This event has no authorization from me or the Basavatarakam Indo-American Cancer Hospital Trust Board. I request everyone to stay vigilant and avoid falling prey to such misleading campaigns. All official events and donation appeals on behalf of the hospital are conducted only through verified and transparent channels,” Balakrishna said.

The post has gone viral on social media, with the actor urging the public not to believe fraudulent advertisements or contribute to unauthorized programs.
