Veteran actor GV Babu, known for his role as a grandfather in the film Balagam, passed away after a prolonged illness while receiving treatment at a hospital in Warangal. Director Venu X expressed his condolences on social media, highlighting GV Babu’s lifelong dedication to theatre. He said, “GV Babu is no more. He spent his entire life in the world of drama, and I was fortunate to introduce him to the silver screen with Balagam during his final days. I pray for his soul to rest in peace.”
