The Kannada action thriller Bagheera, starring Sri Murali of Ugramm fame, was released on October 31, 2024, during Diwali, and it received mixed reviews from critics and audiences. Directed by Dr. Suri and written by Prashanth Neel, the film had generated a lot of anticipation before its release.
Finally, the movie is set to be streamed. Netflix has recently confirmed that Bagheera would be available for streaming from 21st November 2024. That is, the film would stream in multiple languages like Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, and Telugu so that it can reach as big an audience as possible across India and beyond.
Produced by the big film house Hombale Films, Bagheera boasts of the lead female role to Rukmini Vasanth, opposite Sri Murali. Composed by the talented Ajaneesh Loknath, the film is an action-packed ride, perfect for home entertainment in the wake of having already tested the waters of big screens. With OTT on its agenda, it will be interesting to see how it holds across digital viewership after the movie premieres on the silver screen.
