`Autonomous Drone’ Into CM Chandrababu’s security cover

Instead of keeping a large number of police personnel into Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu’s security cover, now preference is being given to technology. Now. ‘autonomous drones’ are monitoring the security at CM’s residence instead of hundreds of police personnel.

In the past, when YS Jaganmohan Reddy was the Chief Minister, the areas around the CM’s residence were made a complete no-go area with check posts around Tadepalli’s house, barricades at every step, armed guards, and restrictions on public roads. The Octopus Team Force, which is used for special operations, was used for 24-hour security around his house. Four snipers were also deployed around the house for Jagan’s security.

Mobile QRTs with bulletproof vehicles were set up and crores of rupees were spent on his security at a level that no other CM in the country has. They have spent Rs 90 crores a year and arranged a huge security with 980 people with special forces.

But, after Chandrababu Naidu became Chief Minister for the fourth time, the security personnel were reduced to 121 people at his residence. While Jagan’s convoy as CM had 17 vehicles, Chief Minister Chandrababu’s vehicle fleet, which has Z-plus security, is limited to 11 vehicles.

Even when he goes on tours to other states, his security continues with the minimum necessary personnel. To this end, a state-of-the-art drone has been installed at Chandrababu’s residence in Undavalli. Security monitoring of the surrounding areas has been taken up with the help of ‘autonomous drones’ at the CM’s residence.

The drone flies around the surrounding areas every two hours and shoots videos as programmed. If a moment is seen that is different from the normal conditions, new objects or suspicious objects are seen, it sends a message to the monitoring team. This drone, which was placed at the CM’s residence, flies in those areas autonomously on autopilot.

It comes back and lands on the designated dock and charges itself. By analyzing the data sent by this drone, the authorities are monitoring the security in the areas around the house. Autonomous drones can do more work with less time and staff. The quality will increase.

The Chief Minister also instructed the authorities to deploy limited staff in the event that the CM goes to private programs without causing any inconvenience to them. The CM strongly suggested that the security rush should be reduced in such areas.

Since there are clear instructions from the Chief Minister in every matter, most of the problems of restrictions do not arise during the CM’s visit. The authorities are trying to simplify these further.
