Arrest of Manda Krishna Madiga Sparks Tension In Hyderabad!

In Hyderabad, police arrested MRPS (Madiga Reservation Porata Samiti) founder president Manda Krishna Madiga. The MRPS had recently called for large-scale rallies and protests across all district centers, questioning how the government could fill government jobs without first completing the SC reservation classification. Manda Krishna Madiga and his supporters began their march from the MRPS office in Parsigutta towards the Ambedkar statue at Tank Bund, but the police intervened and stopped them. Despite this, MRPS leaders declared their intention to continue the rally.

Amidst this, a heated exchange occurred between MRPS leaders and the police, leading to a tense situation in the area. In response, the police arrested Manda Krishna Madiga and transferred him to the Gandhinagar Police Station. Meanwhile, MRPS members were taken to various police stations across the city.

Manda Krishna Madiga, reflecting Revanth Reddy’s concerns, challenged the government on how it could fill government jobs without implementing SC reservation classification in the state. He voiced strong opposition to the plan to fill 11,000 teacher positions without completing the classification process. Madiga expressed his anger over the issuance of teacher appointment orders at LB Stadium, criticizing the government for neglecting the SC classification. He questioned how the state could proceed with recruitment processes while ignoring the Supreme Court’s ruling on the matter.

Manda Krishna Madiga questioned the rationale behind arresting MRPS leaders and activists who were peacefully protesting for reservations in new government recruitments in Telangana, as stipulated by the Supreme Court ruling. He condemned the police for blocking and arresting those participating in the rallies, describing it as outrageous. Madiga accused the Revanth Reddy government of colluding with the Mallas to deceive the Madiga community, claiming that they were facing injustice. He insisted that no government job recruitments should take place until SC classification is implemented and the share of the Madiga community is clearly established.
