AP Opens Doors To Investors, Industrialists

Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu said at the end of this three-day visit to national capital New Delhi, that the state has opened its doors to investors and industrialists. Expressing satisfaction over his discussions with Prime MInister Narendra Modi along with over 10 union ministers, NITI Aayog CEO BVR Subramanyam and 16th Finance Commission Chairman Arvind Panagariya, besides several prominent industrialists, he was happy with the positive response.

Vedanta Chairman Anil Aggarwal, NTP CMD Gurdeep Singh, National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) Chairman Santosh Yadav, DGCII Chandrajeet Banerjee, FICCI Vice President Ananth Goinka, FICCI Director General Jwoti Vij along with five or six other industry leaders met him. He also met SAIL Director Sukhbir Singh, President of the US-India Strategy Partnership Forum Mukesh Aghi, and later had a meeting with Japanese diplomat Suzuki Hiroshi.

Naidu said that after a gap of five years again investors started looking towards Andhra Pradesh as a desired destination.  He said the is only focusing on reconstruction of Andhra Pradesh, but not worry about positions in the central government.  He recalled that during Vajpayee’s tenure, seven cabinet minister posts were offered to TDP, but they were not taken.

He said that he took the post of Speaker then because he was in NDA. He said that even now they have taken only two ministerial posts given by NDA and are happy with those ministerial posts. He said that assistance to the state is important for themhim.

He said that human resources are the capital of wealth creation and they can create wealth as an investment. Employment will be provided with short, medium and long term goals. He said that the PPP model will be replaced by the P-4 (Public, Private, People, Partnership) system. He assured potential investors that they need not fear harassment that they had witnessed during the YCP regime in the state. Chandrababu Naidu said that he will that he will attend the Davos Investment Conference in January.

While most political parties are advocating for caste census, he said that he is focusing on skill census in the state, for which guidelines will be released soon. He is confident that the former glory of Amaravati will be revived soon and it will emerge again as an international attention. Including iconic buildings all proposed constructions will be completed in phases in Amaravati, he added.
