On the eve of Ugadi, Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan conveyed his best wishes to the Telugu people, describing the festival as a reflection of their cultural heritage. He emphasized that traditions, customs, and art forms play a crucial role in preserving a community’s identity.
In an official statement, Pawan Kalyan noted that this year’s Ugadi is named after Sri Vishwavasu, a celestial Gandharva. “Life is a mix of joys and hardships, symbolized by Ugadi Pachadi. While the previous administration brought challenges, the new government is committed to ushering in prosperity for the people of Andhra Pradesh. I sincerely wish that Sri Vishwavasu Ugadi brings abundance and happiness to every Telugu household,” he stated.
