The AP Cabinet has given the green signal to the Super Six schemes. Chaired by Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu on Thursday, it has issued orders to the Finance Department to implement the `Thalliki Vandanam’ scheme before the next academic year.
The Chief Minister said that `Thalliki Vandanam’ should be implemented before the reopening of schools. He also clarified that the Mega DSC should be implemented before the reopening of schools. He said that the state funds should be added immediately after the central funds are sanctioned to the farmers and the Annadata Sukhibhava should be implemented.
The cabinet discussed in detail the manner in which revenue conferences are being held, water resources and financial difficulties. It was decided to form a cabinet sub-committee to resolve revenue problems. The committee consists of the ministers of revenue, finance and municipal administration.
The state cabinet approved the works worth Rs 2,733 crore for capital city Amaravati. The cabinet approved two works taken in the 44th meeting of the CRDA. It has approved the Municipal Law Amendment Ordinance transferring authority to issue building construction and layout permits to the Municipalities.
Approval has been given to create 19 new posts in Pithapuram Area Development Authority. The cabinet has approved the increase in ESI Hospital to 100 beds in Tirupati. Approval has been given to the construction of a 100-bed ESI Hospital in Prathipadu mandal of Guntur district.
The cabinet has approved the decisions taken in SIPB, in which approval has been given to the investments of Rs 1,82,162 crore. Investments are likely to generate jobs for 2,63,411 people. Approval has been given to investments in 106 acres in Rambilli, Anakapalle district.
Balaji Action Buildwell Private Limited has approved an investment of Rs. 1,174 crore. The cabinet has approved investments of Rs. 83,000 crore in clean energy by 5 new companies in the state.
A powerpoint presentation was given to the ministers on the Godavari-Banakacharla linkage. Discussions were held on how to build the new project and how to raise funds. It was decided to examine the issue of providing additional water to Kuppam and Chittoor through the Chitravathi Balancing Reservoir and Yogi Vemana-Handreeniwa link.
