AP Cabinet Approved Investments worth Rs 70,000 crore In IT, Renewable Energy, Drones

The AP state cabinet on Thursday approved investments worth Rs 70,000 crore in AP. Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu said that if all these are grounded, jobs will be created for one lakh people and suggested that we should pursue these and ground them further. He explained that these industries are coming up in the IT, renewable energy, electronics, drones and automobiles sectors.

Presiding over the cabinet meeting, the Chief Minister directed the ministers to immediately launch a program to give three cents in villages and two cents in cities to the homeless poor. Everyone should focus on this issue. He said that like Quantum Valley, we should also be ahead of everyone in Green Hydrogen Valley. This will benefit us more.

CM Chandrababu made key comments on relations with Singapore. He recalled that the Singapore government came forward and helped us with the initiative we showed when the united Andhra Pradesh state was separated. He emphasized that the Singaporean government also helped in the same way.

He said that in the past, the Singaporean consortium had come forward to develop a startup area in the capital of Amaravati. But after the change of government, he deplored that the then CM Jaganmohan Reddy expelled the managers of that company. He flagged that the Jagan government had branded the managers of that company as corrupt.

Chandrababu said that they had also tried to file a case against the managers of the Singaporean consortium. Due to this, they expressed complete dissatisfaction with AP. He said that Jagan had spoiled all relations with Singapore. That is why CM Chandrababu suggested that we should restore our relations with them again. The CM reminded that the managers of the Singaporean consortium are saying that they will undertake any project except seed capital.

The cabinet has decided to completely abolish interest on water tax for the year 2024 to 2025. They also discussed the commission report given by Justice Satyanarayana Murthy on the Tirupati stampede. The Cabinet has directed that criminal action to be taken against the cow protection officer and another DSP.
