Having reached the pinnacle of success, Pan-India star Prabhas is all set to collaborate with acclaimed director Hanu Raghavapudi to work on a grand period action drama with a tinge of romance. While yet untitled for now, it can be tentatively referred to as Fauji. The movie will feature Prabhas in the role of a soldier, which surely will make for one high-octane cinematic spectacle with a great dose of action combined with intense storytelling.
On top of that, veteran Bollywood actor Anupam Kher has joined for an extremely critical role. Anupam Kher is renowned for his impactful performances in Karthikeya 2 and he is expected to elevate the narrative. Recently, a picture of him with Prabhas and Hanu Raghavapudi has already sent ripples of excitement among the moviegoers.
Fauji is being mounted on a grand scale with immense sets and spectacular visuals to portray the period drama. Starring Imanvi as the female lead, the music and background score has been composed by Vishal Chandrasekhar. Mythri Movie Makers are backing the project, which is planning for a release in 2025.
Meanwhile, Prabhas is busy wrapping up his Raja Saab, directed by Maruthi; thus, he will serve two doses of action entertainment for his fans in a row. Receipt of big-budget films in the year to come sounds promising for Prabhas and his ever-growing fan base.
