Director Anil Ravipudi has taken legal action against misleading YouTube videos, stating that false narratives about him are being circulated online. He confirmed that he has already lodged a complaint with the cyber police regarding the issue.
Speaking on the matter, Ravipudi said, “Fabricated stories with appealing voiceovers are being posted on YouTube. My family members and close friends have been forwarding these videos to my wife, questioning the false claims. I have already reported this to the cyber police and urge content creators to remove such videos immediately. If this continues, strict action will be taken. This is not just about me—many others are also facing similar baseless allegations. Spreading falsehoods for clicks is causing personal distress to several individuals.”
Reflecting on his career, Ravipudi stated, “I come from a middle-class background and have spent 20 years in the industry. After establishing myself as a writer, I transitioned to direction, enduring three years of struggles. Actor Kalyan Ram trusted my vision and gave me the opportunity to direct Pataas, which marked the beginning of my directorial journey. Over the past decade, audience love and support have been my biggest motivation. It is heartening to see my films being appreciated across all age groups.”
