Andhra Pradesh political situation is getting hotter with political speculations gaining tides about defections in the YSR Congress Party, YSRCP. Former Minister Anil Kumar Yadav, who has kept low profiles lately, finds himself at the center of these speculations. Anticipating the concern, Anil has clarified his position with the party and future political plans in what follows.
Anil clarified that his temporary retreat from active politics in the district was due to personal reasons, and he reassured his supporters that he would soon return to active participation. He also responded to accusations from certain political figures, reportedly aligned with Nara Lokesh, who have attempted to use his past legal cases as a tool against him. “If they choose to file cases, I am ready to face them. Once we are back in power, we will settle everything with interest,” Anil declared.
In response to rumors of his departure from the YSRCP, Anil strongly denied the claims, reaffirming his steadfast support for YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. “As long as I am in politics, I will stand with Jagan,” he stated, expressing confidence that the YSRCP would emerge victorious in the upcoming elections in Nellore. He also emphasized that Jagan would remain the Chief Minister, as the party would continue its mission for the people.
Anil expressed frustration at those spreading false narratives about him, accusing them of misjudging his loyalty. Reflecting on the state of affairs under the YSRCP, he noted that the opposition may have faced fewer challenges in the past, but warned that things would be different if they ever regained power. “When we return to power, the political dynamics will be entirely different,” he concluded, signaling that the YSRCP would adopt a stronger stance against its rivals in the future.
