Andhra Pradesh to Revise Registration Values from February 1st

The Andhra Pradesh government has announced a revision of registration values, set to take effect from February 1st. Orders have been issued to adjust registration values across both rural and urban areas of the state to align with current market values. The Commissioner of Stamps and Registrations has been directed by Special Chief Secretary RP Sisodia to ensure the smooth implementation of the revised values.

The government order specifies that in some areas, the registration values may see both increases and decreases. As a result, registration offices across the state, including in Guntur, are experiencing higher than usual activity, with registrations continuing late into the night.

While registration values in urban areas are typically revised annually on August 1st, and every two years in rural areas, the previous revision under the YSR Congress Party administration led to higher values, placing additional financial strain on the public. Following a review, the current coalition government has decided to make further revisions to these registration values.
