Andhra Pradesh Assembly Budget Sessions To Begin Monday

The Andhra Pradesh Assembly Budget sessions will commence on Monday, with Governor Justice Abdul Nazeer addressing both houses on the first day. Following the address, the session will be adjourned to the next day. The Business Advisory Committee (BAC) will then convene to finalize the agenda, including the duration of the sessions and the schedule for discussions. The sessions are expected to continue for two to three weeks.

Reports indicate that YSRCP chief and former Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, along with party MLAs, will attend the sessions. In light of the Assembly proceedings, officials have implemented stringent entry regulations. Special passes have been issued to ministers, MLAs, MLCs, media personnel, visitors, and police staff, with only authorized individuals permitted entry. Color-coded passes have been designated for access to specific areas within the Assembly and Legislative Council.

As per official directives, entry through Assembly Gate 1 will be restricted to the Legislative Council Chairman, Speaker, Deputy Speaker, Chief Minister, and Deputy Chief Minister. Ministers will be allowed access through Gate 2, while MLAs and MLCs will use Gate 4. The corridors designated for the Chairman, Speaker, and Chief Ministers will remain off-limits to others. Personal assistants of ministers and legislators will be granted entry only if deemed necessary.

Security measures prohibit the carrying of weapons, sticks, placards, and whistles within the Assembly premises. Members have been advised against bringing personal assistants. Additionally, media interactions have been restricted to the designated media point within the Assembly. Protests, demonstrations, sit-ins, and gatherings have been strictly prohibited in the vicinity of the Legislature.
