Minister for Endowment Anam Ramanarayana Reddy has accused the previous Jagan government of corrupting the economy of Andhra Pradesh. He asked why former CM and YSRCP chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy is not coming to the assembly? He criticized Jagan for running away from the assembly because he could not answer.
He wondered whether they need to give answers in the assembly when the YCP chief asks questions while sitting at home. He said that the assembly is a respectful house that makes laws and holds discussions for the welfare and development of the people. He lamented that Jagan has minimum respect towards such a legislative assembly?
The Minister deplored that the MLAs who won in YSRCP are suffering from mental anguish. He suggested that at least one of them be allowed to come to the assembly. He said that the YCP has no right to question the coalition government. He made it clear that there is no place for anarchists in AP.
Ramanarayana Reddy warned that if anarchy is created in the state, they will not remain silent. He asked how they can ask the opposition status in the assembly if the people themselves do not give them? The Minister recalled that the people defeated the candidates supported by the YCP in the MLC elections as well.
“YCP leaders tore papers on AP Governor Abdul Nazeer and disrespected him in the assembly. The governor has no connection with any political party. Jagan is angry that the people have confined the YCP to 11 seats. Jagan has no respect for the constitution and does not have a good opinion of the people”, he added.
The Minister said that it is ridiculous that Jagan asks them to answer in the legislative assembly by raising issues in his news media Sakshi. He became angry and said that YCP has no moral right to continue as a political party and it would be better if Jagan himself quits politics. Otherwise, he warned that the people themselves will punish them without even a single seat.
If they do not have faith in the Indian Constitution, Ramanarayana Reddy suggested that Jagan should leave the country. Lamenting that Jagan has drowned the state in debt, he said that even if the coalition government rules for 20 years, Andhra Pradesh’s debts will not be paid off.
He alleged that the credit for weakening the village panchayat system goes to Jaganmohan Reddy. Expressing his anger, he said that Jagan did not care about the problems of the sarpanches who won during the YSRCP regime.
