Touted to be an action-drama, anticipation builds around Superstar Rajinikanth’s much-anticipated next ‘Vettaiyan’. Ever since the announcement was made about the collaboration between Superstar Rajinikanth and Bollywood legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan, fans have been eagerly awaiting their on-screen reunion. Adding to the anticipation, the makers recently revealed BTS pictures from the sets of ‘Vettaiyan’, featuring Amitabh and Rajinikanth.
Now, again, a new picture from the ‘Vettaiyan sets has gone viral on social media, in which both the actors were seen wearing formal outfits against the backdrop of a courtroom, hinting at a pivotal court scene.
Recently, Big B wrapped up his shooting for ‘Vettaiyan’, and in the latest entry, Amitabh shared his shooting experiences and said, “Another day at work comes to an end and the end too of this project for me… But ever the dissatisfaction of a doubt, when in reflection, whether the work done was to satisfaction and whether there shall be an opportunity to have another try and redo and maybe improve the previous.”
The actor additionally added, “There is ever the apprehension that the production or the director may not give you another chance… but as you reminisce at night, it disturbs you and you wonder… so a request has been made and there is promised that the opportunity to redo and improve shall be given… but let us see.”
Directed by TJ Gnanavel, ‘Vettaiyan’ is backed by Subaskaran under Lyca Productions. Apart from the Titans of Indian cinema, the film boasts a stellar ensemble cast, including Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Ritika Singh, Manju Warrier, Dushara Vijayan, and others in significant roles. Musical sensation Anirudh Ravichandran is composing the tunes for this flick. The makers have yet to announce the film’s release date, expecting it to arrive in theaters in late 2024.
