Amit Shah says center provided Rs 3 Lakh crore To AP In six Months

Giving assurance that AP will achieve three times the progress under the leadership of Chandrababu Naidu and Narendra Modi duo, the Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that the Narendra Modi-led central government  has provided Rs. 3 lakh crore assistance to AP in six months.

He revealed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is committed to the development of Andhra Pradesh in all aspects. He assured that the Center is behind Chandrababu and together will develop AP. He inaugurated the newly built National Disaster Management Organization (NIDM) and NDRF 10th Battalion centers, built at a cost of Rs. 160 crore in Kondapavuluru, Gannavaram mandal, Krishna district on Sunday.

He also virtually inaugurated the Tirupati Regional Forensic Science Lab. CM Chandrababu, Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan, Union Ministers Rammohan, Bandi Sanjay and ministers participated in this program.

Speaking at a public meeting organized on this occasion, Amit Shah recalled that we have all seen how AP has been destroyed since 2019. He said that soon after the coalition government came to power, 27,000 crores were provided as loans through HUDCO and the World Bank for the construction of the capital of Amaravati.

He revealed that Rs. 11,440 crores were recently sanctioned for the Visakha Steel Plant. He expressed confidence that Polavaram water would reach all parts of the state by 2028 as funds were sanctioned for the national project Polavaram. He explained that work has been started with an investment of Rs. 2 lakh crores for the construction of a green park in Visakhapatnam. He said that the Visakha railway zone has also been mapped.

“The self-respect of Andhra people is tied up in the matter of the steel plant. The Center has assured the people of a sensitive issue. Chandrababu worked hard for the construction of the AP capital Amaravati. The construction of the capital was stopped in the last five years. Now that the coalition has come to power, the Center has provided funds and started the work”, he said.

“The Center has kept its word regarding the railway zone. We will complete the construction of Polavaram, which is the lifeline of AP, and provide water to it by 2028. We have allocated Rs. 2 lakh crore for Visakhapatnam Green Energy. We are constructing AIIMS with Rs. 1600 crore. National highways will be constructed with Rs. 1.20 lakh crore”, Amit Shah added.
