Union Home Minister and senior BJP leader Amit Shah assured that Polavaram project will be completed in two years, if Chandrababu Naidu in Andhra Pradesh and Narendra Modi at the center elects to form government in the present elections.
Addressing an election rally in Dharmavaram, along with Chandrababu Naidu he said that the new government will also complete the capital city Amaravati. He asserted that TDP, Jana Sena and BJP together will form a double- engine government in the state
He assured that the NDA alliance is fully responsible for completing the Polavaram project, the lifeline for the development of the state. He accused that while the NDA parties are trying to provide drinking water and irrigation water to the people, Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy obstructed the completion of the project by resorting to massive corruption.
Amit Shah said that BJP has formed an alliance with the TDP and the Jana Sena Party in the state only to end a regime of goondagiri, land mafia and corruption in the state. He made it clear that the corrupt YSRCP government will be ousted.
He said that the alliance will protect the sanctity of Tirupati Venkateswara Swamy and protect the Telugu language. Lamenting that CM Jagan replaced mother tongue with English, Amit Shah cautioned that as long as there is BJP it cannot allow Jagan’s efforts to end Telugu language.
He urged people of Andhra Pradesh to support the alliance of TDP, BJP and Jana Sena to win with a huge majority and leave the development of the state to the alliance. The Union Minister reminded that Chandrababu placed the combined state of Andhra Pradesh in the first place in several sectors.
They said that even after the partition, he said Naidu has taken the state on the path of progress. But, he deplored that Jagan had degraded the development he had made. He said that Jagan that had broken his promise to ban liquor. He said that Arogyashree has been crippled by not giving funds.
Amit Shah promised that if Chandrababu and Modi win, they will complete all the pending projects in Rayalaseema. He called for alliance candidates to win in 25 out of 25 MP seats and make Chandrababu the CM with two-thirds of the seats in the assembly.
