The Union Minister Amit Shah has reportedly estimated that TDP, Jana Sena and BJP combine is likely to win over 145 assembly seats in Andhra Pradesh. Though this was the estimation prepared by BJP general secretary Sunil Bansali, who is said to be a close associate of Amit Shah, BJP sources are indicating that the estimation was made under the supervision of the Home Minister only.
According to this estimation, the alliance candidates are likely to win in 24 Lok Sabha constituencies, out of total 25 constituencies.
According to this estimation, YSR Congress Party is likely to be limited to 30 seats, as against its strength of 151 seats in 2019 polls.
The estimation is said to be a combination of inputs received from central intelligence agencies and several external poll survey agencies.
It may be recalled that TDP is contesting these polls in alliance with Jana Sena and BJP. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has already visited the state launching the poll campaign of the three parties, last month. He is expected to visit again on May 3rd and 4th.
Meanwhile, TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu and Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan are jointly touring several constituencies, receiving mammoth response from the public. According to BJP top leaders estimation that people of the state are angry towards YS Jaganmohan Reddy’s regime of terror and corruption.
As the process of nominations was over, it is now clear who are candidates in each constituency contesting and every one is engaged in an intense election campaign. However, the response from the people to TDP and its allies campaign is seen as spontaneous, more expressing their anger against YS Jagan’s miserable regime.
Already several national surveys have clearly indicated that the three parties alliance is going to win a majority of seats in the state and change of the government is certain. Even many predict that Chandrababu Naidu will take oath as Chief Minister on June 9, as counting of votes will be on June 4.
