Amaravati Drone Summit Gets superb Response with 5000+ participants

With Chandrababu Naidu back in the saddle, the putative capital of Andhra Pradesh, Amaravati seems to have born again from the ashes. The NDA government has been putting all out efforts to put Amaravati on the world map after it was sidelined by the previous regime under YS Jagan. To highlight Amaravati’s growing stature and potential, the current dispensation is making sure the capital city grabs the attention of investors across the country.

In a one-of-its kind initiative, a Drone Summit is going to be held in Amaravati today. More than 5,000 drones will take part in this exhibition. The two-day national summit, organised by the Andhra Pradesh Drone Corporation, will take place on October 22 and 23, aiming to create a platform for industry experts, researchers, students, and innovators. Union Civil Aviation Minister Kinjarapu Ram Naidu and Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu will attend the event.

The drone exhibition, supported by the Ministry of Civil Aviation, the Confederation of Indian Industry, and the Drone Federation of India, will be held at Punnami Ghat on the banks of the Krishna River today. The state government is targeting investments of Rs 2,000 crore in the drone sector and aims to generate 30,000 jobs. A new Drone Policy is also expected to be announced.

During the previous tenure of Chandrababu Naidu, the state government undertook various initiatives to lift the image of Andhra Pradesh. Unfortunately, Naidu’s successor demolished the state’s potential with his anti-investment policies and vindictive politics.
