Riding high on this blockbuster hit, Allu Arjun was all geared up to team up with his regular collaborator Trivikram Srinivas for a high-budget film, said to be about a mythological topic. The official announcement left fans in anticipation, as the duo’s previous collaborations have been always huge hits. But owing to the very ambitious idea of the film and the detailed planning involved, the project has now been delayed.
Meanwhile, Bunny has given the go-ahead to a new pan-Indian project with top Tamil filmmaker Atlee. This high-budget film will be made by Sun Pictures’ Kalanithi Maran, and Bollywood icon Deepika Padukone has been locked in as the heroine. With pre-production already under way in full force, the film is likely to be one of Indian cinema’s most talked-about releases.
Of course, naturally this progress had everyone speculating that the Trivikram project was being dropped. But Bunny Vas, Allu Arjun’s close friend and renowned producer, put an end to such rumors. The Allu Arjun-Trivikram film is indeed in the pipeline, he assured, and will start off once both the director and the actor are free.
While this is happening, Trivikram is not keeping idle. He’s said to be planning a family entertainer with Venkatesh and also discussing another big film with Ram Charan, which is slated to start once Charan finishes Peddi, his ongoing project.
Allu Arjun, however, is likely to take up the Atlee project first, and once that finishes, he will turn his attention to Trivikram’s long-awaited film.
Allu Arjun’s fans can relax—two gigantic films are in the works, and both have the potential to present Allu Arjun in never-seen-before avatars.
