Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2: The Rule continues to dominate the box office, setting new records and achieving remarkable revenue figures, surpassing the earnings of several major Indian commercial films. The film, which has already earned ₹1,508 crore worldwide, has broken multiple records, including surpassing the collections of KGF 2 (₹1,250 crore) and RRR (₹1,387 crore). The film is also poised to surpass Baahubali 2 (₹1,810 crore) and is inching closer to the all-time highest-grossing Indian film, Dangal (₹2,024 crore).
Rumors about the film’s early OTT release began circulating on social media, with posts claiming that Pushpa 2 would be available for streaming from the second week of January. In response, the film’s team issued a statement clarifying that the movie will not be released on any OTT platform until 56 days after its theatrical release. They encouraged fans to experience the film in theaters during the upcoming holiday season.
Pushpa 2 also set a new record by becoming the first film to gross ₹200 crore (net) in the Mumbai circuit and ₹632 crore (net) in the Hindi market, making a significant mark in Bollywood. This milestone was achieved within just 15 days of its release.
