The highly anticipated film ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ is ramping up with promotional events as it approaches its global grand release on December 5. At the recent pre-release event in Hyderabad, director Sukumar delivered an emotional speech that got lead actor Allu Arjun to tears.
While the film team engaged with a busy schedule in promoting the film recently in Chennai and Kochi, Sukumar had been immersed in post-production work to ensure the movie’s timely release. He finally graced the pre-release event, which was held in Hyderabad, and his presence was a highlight, where he expressed deep admiration for Allu Arjun.
Sukumar lauded Arjun’s dedication and hard work, saying, “Pushpa 1 and 2 happened because of my love for Bunny. His commitment, down to the smallest expressions and voice modulations, inspires any filmmaker to give their best. He also shared how Allu Arjun’s energy drove him to lead the Pushpa film, which left Allu Arjun in tears.
Sukumar revealed that he had only a rough concept but not a story before. “I don’t have a story before. I just narrated a couple of scenes about the character. But Bunny’s energy drives me to create the story. Our bond is like an exchange of energy. He created a platform at a very high level, and we all, technicians, have to work at that height to create a new benchmark, the filmmaker added.
