The formidable duo – NTR and Prashanth Neel are going to join forces for the first time and the anticipation surrounding this project has already been on the higher side because of the heady combination and the massive expectations in trade circles. While NTR attained pan-India popularity with the humongous success of RRR, Prashanth Neel set a high bar for commercial films with the stupendous box office performance of KGF series. So, the film involving both these big names is expected to create a mass euphoria even before the start.
Though NTR and Neel were supposed to commence work on this much anticipated project last year itself, the launch has been deferred several times as both of them were occupied with other projects. While Neel got busy with Salaar, NTR entirely focused on Devara. This has led to several rumours that Neel is keen on starting Salaar 2 and NTR will concentrate on other projects. Finally, the makers of NTR – Neel project have decided to put an end to the ongoing rumours.
According to latest reports, NTR – Neel project is likely to be launched on August 9th. The regular shooting is expected to commence later this year. The film, which is tentatively titled Dragon will be shot in different countries. It will be a full-blown action saga that is going to boast an ensemble cast and talented technicians.
