Tollywood evergreen star Akkineni Nagarjuna, celebrated for both lead and pivotal roles across his career, is all set to thrill audiences with the re-release of his iconic film Shiva. Directed by Ram Gopal Varma, the film is widely regarded as a trendsetting project in Indian cinema and has long been eagerly anticipated by fans.
Although the re-release had been speculated for some time, the makers officially confirmed the date today, coinciding with the birth anniversary of Akkineni Nageswara Rao. Shiva is scheduled for a grand theatrical re-release on November 14, with audiences eager to see the records it may set at the box office.
The film stars Amala in the lead female role, with Raghubir portraying the antagonist. Legendary composer Ilaiyaraaja provided the music, further enhancing the film’s enduring appeal and iconic status in Tollywood.
