Akhanda 2 Postponed To December?

The release of Akhanda 2 Tandavam, the highly anticipated sequel starring Nandamuri Balakrishna and directed by Boyapati Srinu, may be postponed to December. Initially slated for a September release, the film is reportedly facing delays due to incomplete post-production work, particularly in the visual effects department.

Featuring Sanyuktha and Harshaali Malhotra in key roles, the film recently launched its teaser, further heightening expectations. With the September window becoming increasingly competitive and the graphics work yet to reach final stages, the makers are now said to be considering a mid-December release.

Sources indicate that Akhanda 2 may hit theatres on December 18, although an official announcement is yet to be made. The proposed date would place the film in direct competition with several high-profile releases, including Raja Saab from Telugu and multiple star-led Hindi films scheduled throughout the month.

The makers are reportedly evaluating the box office landscape to ensure optimal timing for the film’s pan-India release.
