Tamil actor Ajith Kumar, known for his versatile talents as both a professional racer and shooter, has expressed a strong desire to act in international-style racing action films similar to Fast & Furious. While his Tamil films consistently find an audience in the Telugu market as well, Ajith’s latest remarks during a conversation with his racing team have sparked interest online.
In a recent interaction, an anchor referenced Brad Pitt’s upcoming film F1: The Movie and asked if Ajith could be seen in a project like the 24H Series. Responding to the query, Ajith said, “I’ve always wanted to act in films like Fast & Furious or F1-themed sequels. I usually perform all my racing sequences and stunts myself. If the opportunity arises, I would definitely take it up.” A video clip of this response is now going viral on social media platforms.
Though Hollywood has produced several successful films based on racing themes, such attempts in Indian cinema have largely struggled to gain traction. However, Ajith’s real-life experience as a racer and his commitment to performing bike stunts without a double could offer filmmakers a unique opportunity to create an authentic racing film in the Indian context.
