Sai Durgha Tej, formerly known as Sai Dharam Tej, is currently working on his pan-Indian project, tentatively titled ‘SDT 18’. The makers introduced Aishwarya Lekshmi as the female lead by unveiling the first look today.
Aishwarya Lekshmi celebrates her 34th birthday today. Marking her special day, the filmmakers of ‘SDT 18’ delighted fans by unveiling her character as Vasantha. Sharing the first look on their social media handles, they captioned, “A Breeze in the barren lands. Unveiling @aishu_ as VASANTHA from the Magnanimous World of #SDT18 on the occasion of her birthday.”
The poster showcases Aishwarya draped in a saree with a melancholic expression, set against the backdrop of deserted land, suggesting her character as Vasantha holds significant emotional depth.
With the shooting currently happening at a brisk pace in Ramoji Film City under a massive set, the film is expected to hit theaters in 2025.
Written and helmed by Rohith KP, the film is backed by HanuMan producers K. Niranjan Reddy and Chaitanya Reddy of the esteemed production house, Primeshow Entertainment. Scheduled for a pan-Indian release, the film will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi.
The makers have not yet disclosed the other cast and crew information. Additional details of the film are expected to be announced soon.
On the work front, the actress will also appear in the upcoming Malayalam film ‘Hello Mummy’ alongside Sharaf U Dheen under the direction of debutant director Vaishakh Elans.
