After a long hiatus, actress Udaya Bhanu is set to enchant audiences again with Tribanadhari Barbarik, in which she plays a pivotal role alongside Sathyaraj. Directed by Mohan Srivatsa, the film is scheduled for release on August 29.
In a recent promotional interview, Udaya Bhanu spoke about her career and the film. “I hadn’t come across roles or scripts that made me immediately say ‘yes’ for a long time. Some opportunities came my way, but I rejected scenes I didn’t like, which led to a gap. When I heard the narration for Tribanadhari Barbarik, it was visually striking, and I immediately agreed. The film has many twists. My previous experience hosting shows on mythology sparked my interest in such stories,” she said.
Director Maruthi commented on the project, saying, “I usually work on entertainment films, but I enjoy movies like this. In Tribanadhari Barbarik, questions raised in the first half are answered in the second half. Thriller enthusiasts and even Malayalam audiences will appreciate the film, which will also enhance the team’s reputation.”
