Aditi Shankar, the daughter of renowned Tamil director Shankar, is all set to make her Telugu film debut with Bhairava. The film, directed by Vijay Kanakamedala, features Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas, Manchu Manoj, and Nara Rohith in lead roles. Produced by KK Radhamohan under the Sri Sathya Sai Arts banner, with Jayantilal Gada presenting through Pen Studios, Bhairava has generated significant buzz ahead of its release.
Speaking about her debut, Aditi expressed her excitement about joining the Telugu film industry, calling Bhairava the perfect launchpad for her entry into Tollywood. “I instantly connected with the story after director Vijay Kanakamedala narrated it to me. I believe this film will mark my successful entry into the Telugu industry,” she shared. Aditi also reminisced about visiting Hyderabad for her father’s shoots and how surreal it feels to now be shooting for her own film in the city.
Aditi, who plays a bold and dynamic character in Bhairava, also praised her co-stars and the film’s team. She mentioned how working with Sai Sreenivas, Manoj, and Rohith, who are familiar with Tamil, made the experience easier. Aditi also revealed her admiration for Magadheera, her favorite Telugu film, and expressed her desire to take on challenging roles in the future, including historical and performance-driven characters. With the film slated for release on August 30, anticipation is high for Bhairava.
