Following the huge success of RRR, award-winning director S.S. Rajamouli joined hands with superstar Mahesh Babu for his long-awaited next film, SSMB 29. The upcoming film is a suspenseful forest adventure drama, and production is moving at rapid speed. The crew has completed Hyderabad and Odisha schedules with ease and recently initiated a new phase of filming.
Though Rajamouli has been keeping the project very much under wraps, refusing to give any official update, the buzz on the social media front just keeps increasing—particularly about the star cast of the film. It is confirmed that Priyanka Chopra will be seen opposite Mahesh Babu, with Malayalam cinema biggie Prithviraj Sukumaran playing a significant role. The rest of the casting, however, is kept tightly under wraps.
There have been a lot of rumors after news came out that Chiyaan Vikram was also offered a key role, supposedly the villain, but he is said to have turned it down too.
