Actor Sathya Raj, renowned in the Telugu and Tamil film industries, has also garnered recognition in Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada cinema through the blockbuster ‘Baahubali’ series. The latest report is that actor Sathya Raj is all set to play PM Narendra Modi in the upcoming biopic.
According to recent updates, it was reported that the Baahubali actor is set to portray PM Narendra Modi in Narendra Modi’s upcoming biopic. However, the makers have not yet officially confirmed the news. If this is true, it will be the second attempt to make a biopic of the honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Earlier, Bollywood actor Vivek Oberai made a biopic on Narendra Modi’s life in 2019, which received negative talk at the box office, and Vivek Oberai especially faced criticism for his performance. Now, it appears that Narendra Modi’s biopic will once again be seen with a fresh retelling by veteran actor Sathya Raj. The details of the cast and technical crew are expected to be announced shortly, and the film will go on the floors later this year.
Sathya Raj’s most recent appearance was in the 2024 film Singapore Saloon. This coming-of-age movie was helmed by director Gokul and starred RJ Balaji, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Shivani Rajasekhar, Kishen Das, Ann Sheetal, and many others in pivotal roles. Additionally, Lokesh Kanagaraj, Aravind Swamy, and Jiva made special cameo appearances in this flick.
The veteran actor will appear in his next project, ‘Weapon’, in which he plays a leading role alongside Vasanth Ravi. Helmed by Guhan Senniappan, the film is scheduled to be released this May.
